    Creditors Clerk (JHB North)

    Interpersonal and team relationships

    • Build, support and maintain interpersonal and team relationships to ensure stable working environment and achievement of team objectives.

    Personal development

    • Complete Individual Development Plan. Attend learning and development courses. Participate in peer and team learning initiatives.

    Budget Compliance

    • Comply with work rules, standards and methods. Take care to minimise waste. 

    Administration

    • Capturing invoices accurately in the accounting systems.
    • Receiving invoices.
    • Assembling invoices and checking details.
    • Inputting invoices in accounts payable.
    • Making the necessary payments according to the agreed term.
    • Receiving statements from suppliers.
    • Matching statements to the invoices.
    • Liaising with the divisions and clients regarding invoices.
    • Handling queries regarding differences between the invoices and the statements with the suppliers.
    • Reconciliation of the account to the statement.
    • Completing payment vouchers.
    • Preparing the monthly creditors reconciliations.
    • Providing electronic payment details to the Accountant.
    • Handling all queries relating to the electronic payment details and/or receipt of payment.
    • Filing invoices to the correct statement and making sure that all invoices are on file for VAT purposes.
    • Making sure that invoices are allocated to the correct account of budget purposes.

    Systems Administration

    • Ability to put systems in place to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
    • Trouble shooting and problem solving.

    Stakeholder Liaison 

    • Liaising with external and internal stakeholders regarding payments.
    • Communicating with HOD or designated representative.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • National Senior Certificate - Essential
    • National Diploma in Bookkeeping - Recommended

    Experience

    • 3 years in Credit Control - Essential

    Computer Literacy

    • MS Office Suite - Basic

    Maintenance Officer (Cape Town)

    Description

    • The incumbent would be required to work in a Team environment as well as individually and without direct supervision. Additionally it is agreed that the incumbent would understand the need for flexibility, and take on any duties that may be properly deemed to be part of the role.

    Assistance

    • Assisting handymen with maintenance related tasks.
    • Assisting with moving of office furniture.
    • Assisting with the painting of offices, corridors and other building structures.
    • Assisting with moving of boxes for the Mailroom, Marketing, Publicity and other company departments.
    • Providing manual assistance on various tasks and assignments eg. moving of furniture.
    • Performing other maintenance related duties as required.

    Maintenance

    • Emptying the paper recycling bins on a daily basis.
    • Removing heavy items from the building for disposal.
    • Cleaning and maintaining the basement areas in all company buildings
    • Reporting any damages or faults found in the building to the Handyman or Facilities Manager.
    • Ensuring that company issued PPE is worn when working and always work in a safe manner.

    General

    • Performing a variety of manual tasks in and around company premises.
    • Maintaining and sharpening tools
    • Being able to work outdoors and with heights of a building
    • Being physically fit & healthy

    Requirements

    • A National Senior Certificate
    • A minimum of 1 years’ experience within a similar role

    Operations Management

    • Responsible for planning, coordinating & controlling resources required in providing the services of the company.
    • Ensuring organizational processes are running efficiently and effectively.
    • Ensuring delivery of services offered is proficient.

    Requirements

    • A relevant qualification in Film
    • A minimum of 3 years experience within Management
    • A minimum of 5 years experience in a relevant Film Industry
