    QA Administrator - Port Elizabeth

    The main purpose of the QA Administrator  is to provide administrative support to the entire Quality Assurance Department.

    General Duties:

    • PQR – Typing and Trending and administration of database
    • Trending for the QMS system and reports from KabiTrack
    • Risk assessments and register – administration
    • Customer complaint administration duties
    • Compilation of logbooks
    • Administration of the Netskills training system
    • Compilation and distribution of quality KPIs and Netskills training status to departments
    • Complete transactions and reconciliations for batch movement to quarantine store (QS/QR)
    • Administration of the Document Management System e.g. SOPs, archive and retention of records
    • General office duties inclusive of handling of stationary supplies, filing, and assistance with document typing.
    • Carry out other tasks within the department/ factory which are consistent with the grade, qualification and training of the incumbent.

    Requirements

    • Possess a post matric qualification e.g., Certificate or Diploma in Administration
    • Advanced Microsoft office including MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, Lotus Notes
    • 1 – 2 years’ experience in administration or secretarial duties
    • Experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment

    Material Controller - Port Elizabeth

    • The manufacturing plant in Port Elizabeth produces both small and large volume parenterals. 

    The main purpose of the Material Controller is to ensure on time supply of materials for production.

    • Execute MRP actions for materials required for production
    • Monitor that the collections are made on time and report any missed collection dates.
    • Expedite outstanding orders to ensure on time delivery
    • Support in management of vendor performance
    • Follow up on supplier queries
    • Update stock worksheets regularly
    • Issue updated monthly forecasts to all suppliers. 
    • Prepare monthly reports
    • Optimise inventory levels
    • Liaise with receiving staff w.r.t. deliveries and documentation
    • Liaise daily with external service providers regarding imported freight
    • Maintain collection schedule for Freight forwarders based on all orders placed.
    • Follow up with chemistry lab for material release, where applicable
    • Action QMS tasks
    • From time to time carry out other tasks within the department / factory, which are consistent with the grade, qualification, and training of the incumbent.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 with Diploma in Purchasing / Inventory Management
    • 2 years procurement experience
    • PC Literate – SAP, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
    • Understand flow of pharmaceutical warehouse
    • Administration Skills
    • Ability to execute MRP actions in SAP
    • Understand the requirements for releasing chemical materials
    • Understand the relative costs and benefits of potential actions
    • Understand role within new projects
    • Understanding of Incoterms
    • Understands customs requirements and processes
    • Understands change control and event processes
    • Good Manufacturing Principles
    • Good Warehouse Principles
    • Ability to prepare for audit
