    Team Supervisor - George

    Purpose of the Job

    • To supervise the precise and efficient progress of a blood donor clinic.

    A combination of the following skills, knowledge and attributes is required:

    • Be accountable for the administrative & operational function of the clinic
    • Be responsible, reliable and trustworthy
    • Good knowledge of the work instruction manual and aspects of Blood Transfusion
    • Accuracy in recording information and possess problem solving skills
    • Have a friendly disposition and show a keen interest in the work
    • A willingness to work as part of a team is essential
    • Need to organise, delegate and work independently
    • Together with the clinic sister, ensure that all the needs of the donor public are professionally met
    • Multilingual
    • Customer services

    Requirements

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric Certificate
    • Supervisory/Management certification would be an added advantage
    • Completion of in-house Donor Host/Hostess course
    • Previous experience as a deputy team leader would be advantageous
    • Computer Literate
    • Reliable transport
    • A code 8 driver’s license without endorsements would be an advantage
    • Reside or willingness to relocate to the George Region
    • The working hours are variable i.e. shift basis

    Senior Software Engineer (Pinelands)

    Main purpose of the role:

    • To design, develop and implement IT solutions including back-end services and database structures while leading a .Net development team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and build modular and scalable solutions that are optimised for re-use
    • Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
    • Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
    • Review and debug code
    • Leading, guiding and coaching the development team
    • Ensure that the development team is up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
    • Providing consulting services to the business, team members and project teams to ensure optimal solutions that comply with WCBS solution principles and standards

    Competencies / behavioral dimensions:

    • Self-disciplined and self-motivated
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise
    • Must be able to work independently and perform under pressure
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skill

    Requirements

    Minimum requirements and experience:

    • National Diploma or Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science
    • Minimum 7 years development experience
    • Proven C#.Net Core experience
    • Proven Angular Experience
    • MS-SQL experience
    • ‘NoSQL’ experience would be advantageous
    • Mobile development and Web Services experience would be advantageous
    • Valid Code EB driver’s license without endorsements is essential
