REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 10
• Basic Knowledge of warehouse functioning.
• Must be able to work in a team.
• Be prepared to work overtime and shifts when required to do so.
• Be prepared to work for long hours under pressure.
• Be physically fit and in good health.

KEY FUNCTIONS: 

Quality Control:

• Ensure that the metal detector is operational and in working order at all times to prevent any loss of production.
• Ensure accurate screening of bales to prevent contamination of foreign objects.
• Ensure that information is correct on bales to prevent short shipment/ misplacing of bales.

General Duties:

• Ensure the continual flow of the bales in the department.
• Assist with the offloading of incoming wool and mohair.
• Maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.

  Ad Hoc Duties:

• Perform any other ad hoc activities/duties/tasks/ as requested by the supervisor or management in the plant (BKB)

Hard Skills:       

• Grade 12
• Experience in shop electronics (tills, scanners, card machines, etc.)
• Must be good at maths.
• Stock control experience and computer literacy would help.

Soft Skills:      

• You need a big smile!
• Acceptance that our customers are most important.
• Able to move at speed to get things done.
• There is shift work
