    Financial Manager- CPT

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a Financial Manager to join our team. This role is critical for ensuring the financial success and sustainability of the company in a competitive market, assisting the General Manager for Finance in providing finance support to the Operations and Functional Heads. The role holder is expected to become an invaluable partner to the Hygiene and Cleaning General Managers and will be their contact for all matters concerning financial performance and analysis; continuously seeking opportunities for improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations.
    • The incumbent will provide commercial decision support for Operations and Functions across the business including providing accurate financial information to guide senior executives in their decision making on an operational level, with responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, business planning and financial modelling.
    • They will be expected to develop a Teamwork culture that fosters application competence, service excellence, customer focus and business process knowledge focuses on strategic financial planning, reporting, and analysis, positioning you to drive important business decisions and operations.     Key Responsibilities

    • Month end financial review to ensure that revenue and costs are aligned for the month of reporting.

    • Implement cost control measures to enhance profitability without compromising service quality.

    • Develop and manage financial plans and forecasts to support the company's strategic goals.
    • Lead the annual budgeting process, including preparing, reviewing, and finalizing budgets across all departments under sphere of responsibility.
    • Support capital planning / resource allocation via inputs into the AIC approval model (Capex)
    • Prepare periodic forecasting (Monthly, identify shortfalls to budget, and recommend corrective actions
    • Engage with GM operations to put together a plan to mitigate the gap to budget – report on the achievement of these plans monthly.
    • Ensure Active Contracts for the regions are ALL billed. Where there are discrepancies – resolve
    • Manage the company's cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and investments
    • Ensure that the average debtors days targets are met monthly.
    • Have active involvement in the resolution of overdue debt to maintain 60 days plus below target.
    • Partner with divisions to ensure debt exposure is kept to a minimum within the region

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; a master's degree or professional certification (CA, CIMA, ACCA) is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the cleaning, hygiene, or related industries.
    • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (SAP and MS Office)

    General Manager

    Job Description

    • We are seeking to employ a General Manager for the KZN and Eastern Regions. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing the profitability and growth of the Supercare Services business for the allocated region.
    • They will be responsible for service delivery and growth across all clients, within the region, through the management of Sales and Operations and the acquisition of new business, growth and retention of current contracts related to Cleaning, Hygiene and Pest Control services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Contribute towards the development of the Divisional Strategy for Supercare Services in collaboration with the Managing Director.
    • Develop the Operational Business Plan to execute on the Divisional Strategy to maximise revenue growth opportunities within the portfolio / sector or geographic region.
    • Research and keep abreast of market and industry trends, both locally and globally, to develop and customise the current client base and identify growth opportunities to integrate into the region.
    • Manage risks for the region through the identification of risks and development of risk mitigation plans for approval by the Managing Director.
    • Produce monthly and quarterly reports on the performance of the geographic region.
    • Participate in business reviews to provide feedback / communication on regional business operations to the management team.
    • Manage and support a diverse team of Regional Managers within the specified region / portfolio to ensure all operational requirements are met.
    • Provide leadership to the management team to ensure that all operational issues are resolved.
    • Monitor business direction to increase profitability and sustainability.
    • Implement new business strategies and manage project roll outs. Oversee sales in order to achieve revenue growth for the region by monitoring sales force activities and analysing sales data and leading consultations with key internal stakeholders.
    • Monitor adherence to contractual obligations with clients and suppliers (e.g. scope creep, services are delivered within time frame, delivery is on time and with the right quality), within the region, as per Service Level Agreements. Build and implement cost saving models.
    • Directly plan above unit labour and oversee the planning of the in-unit labour force in relation to budget, in consultation with key internal stakeholders i.e. operations and shared services.
    • Efficiently utilise all resources to create business intelligence and mitigate risk to maintain profitability for the region.
    • Monitor compliance with all shared services specialization e.g. Occupational Health and Safety.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field
    • Relevant Post Graduate qualification (NQF Level 8) would be advantageous

    Health, Safety and Environmental(HSE)Manager

    Purpose of the role:

    • The HSE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and coordinating Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and compliance programmes across multiple Facilities Management projects and sites.
    • The role is accountable for ensuring compliance with all applicable health, safety and environmental legislation and company standards, promoting a proactive safety culture, identifying and mitigating workplace risks, and providing employees and contractors with the necessary training, guidance, and support to maintain a safe working environment.

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience

    Essential Qualifications

    • NEBOSH Diploma
    • SAMTRAC or COMSOC 2

    Experience

    • Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant HSE management experience within facilities management, construction, engineering, or a related environment.

    • Ensure Permit-to-Work systems are implemented and effectively managed where required.
    • Ensure appropriate Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures are implemented and that relevant personnel are trained and competent.
    • Monitor compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, standards, and ISO 45001 requirements.
    • Keep abreast of changes to applicable legislation and ensure relevant requirements are communicated and implemented.

    Incident Management

    • Ensure all incidents, accidents, dangerous occurrences, and near misses are reported, investigated, documented, and appropriately closed out.
    • Lead or facilitate incident investigations and ensure root causes are identified.
    • Ensure corrective and preventative actions are developed, implemented, and monitored for effectiveness.

    Maintain accurate HSE performance statistics, including:

    • Ensure Health and Safety Representatives conduct monthly workplace inspections.
    • Monitor findings and ensure corrective actions arising from audits and inspections are implemented and closed out.
    • Prepare and submit accurate monthly Health, Safety and Environmental reports to the Project Manager.
    • Establish and maintain effective HSE reporting systems to communicate performance, risks, trends, and compliance status.
    • Provide management with regular updates and recommendations on significant HSE risks and areas requiring intervention.

    Training & Safety Culture

    • Identify HSE training needs and coordinate the delivery of appropriate training programmes.
    • Conduct employee, contractor, and visitor HSE inductions as required.
    • Maintain accurate induction, training, competency, and employee medical records.
    • Facilitate regular Health and Safety meetings and ensure accurate minutes and action registers are maintained.
    • Promote employee participation and accountability in HSE initiatives.

    • Provide employees and contractors with ongoing HSE guidance, coaching, and support.

    Document Control & Administration

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE records, registers, and documentation.
    • Ensure inspection and audit records are completed, controlled, and maintained in accordance with legislative and company requirements.
    • Maintain Risk Assessments, Hazardous Task Analyses, Safe Work Procedures, Permit-to-Work documentation, and related HSE records.
    • Ensure Health and Safety Committee minutes and relevant HSE communications are distributed to management and employees.
    • Maintain appropriate document control systems to ensure HSE information remains accessible, current, and auditable.

    Operational HSE Responsibilities

    • Ensure equipment, machinery, and installations are regularly inspected, maintained, and operated safely.
    • Monitor compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and ensure employees and contractors use the appropriate PPE.
    • Exercise the authority to stop unsafe work where an immediate or unacceptable health and safety risk exists.
    • Promote and maintain high housekeeping standards across all sites and workshops.
    • Identify fire hazards and ensure appropriate preventative and control measures are implemented.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain emergency preparedness and response procedures.
    • Participate in emergency drills and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into emergency response planning.

    • Responsible for the ongoing training and development needs of all staff by identifying areas where training and development are needed and bringing these to the Human Resources Manager’s/Training Manager’s attention.
    • To check that all work is programmed and executed as per the work schedule.
    • To ensure that all worksheets and Service Reports and necessary administration documents are completed as per the company requirements and filed accordingly.
