    Teacher Development Programme Facilitator-Waterberg District

    The minimum requirements for these positions are:

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education / Family and Consumer Science / Psychology / Social Work / Sociology or a related field
    • Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience working with young children in group settings
    • Knowledge and education regarding developmentally appropriate practices
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, competent interpersonal skills, and strong organisational skills
    • Ability to communicate using technology, develop reports and track data

    Preferred additional requirements:

    • Knowledge and expertise in promoting growth and development in children for any of the developmental domains – language and literacy, health and physical development, approaches to learning, social emotional development, creative arts, science, mathematics
    • Experience in conducting assessments
    • Knowledge of programme quality rating scales   
    • Experience and/or education in adult learning
    • Proof of registration with SACE 
    • Sexual Offender’s clearance certificate

    GP Academic Support Specialist - JHB North

    The requirements for this position are:

    • Suitable teaching qualification in the Foundation Phase with at least four years experience in Academic Support/Inclusive Education
    • Suitable qualifications in Learning Support/Inclusive Education as a post-graduate qualification will be advantageous
    • A fundamentally future-oriented approach to teaching and learning, incorporating future-fit technologies
    • Expert knowledge, a commitment to, and experience in an inclusive education environment
    • Sound understanding of the strategies and latest research to assist learners with barriers to learning.

    Int Phase Teacher & Int Phase Afrikaans Specialist Teacher

    The requirements for these positions are:

    • A suitable professional qualification.
    • Prior teaching experience in a boys’ school would be preferable.
    • Excellent teachers who can engage and inspire young boys whilst understanding the considerable part all teachers play in supporting children emotionally, and the significant link this has to academic achievement.
    • Commitment to accommodate students with diverse backgrounds, preferences, cultures, and association.
    • Records of innovation, commitment, and professionalism.
    • Willingness to embrace rapid changes in education, sound knowledge of current trends and methodologies/pedagogy in education and interest and ability to integrate ICT into teaching and learning activities.
    • Commitment to on-going personal and professional development.
    • Awareness of the nature of the school and willingness to commit to its all-round ethos, co-curricular activities and pastoral approach.
    • The ability to coach a variety of sports offered at the Boys’ Prep would be an advantage.
