    People and Culture Officer (FTC -6Months) (JHB Illovo)

    Primary Purpose of the Job:

    • The People and Culture Officer is responsible for supporting the development and Implementation of People and culture initiatives and systems. The People and Culture Officer is also responsible for every aspect of the employment process.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process.
    • Create and implement effective onboarding plans
    • Assist in performance management processes
    • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
    • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
    • Conducting stay-in interviews (Employee Engagement)
    • Ensures invoices are paid on time.

    Requirements
    Qualifications:

    • 3 Year relevant HR Qualification

    Experience

    • Minimum 3 years proven experience in a similar role, HR administrator or other HR position.

    Job Skills and Competencies

    • Labour Laws and disciplinary procedures, HR functions (Recruitment, performance management, people development etc.)

    Behavioural Competencies

    • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
    • Strong ethics and reliability
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Technical Competencies

    • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.

    Data Analyst (JHB Illovo)

    Purpose of this role:

    Actively enable the Digital Risk Advisory Services objectives to incorporate data analytics processes in our RAS services. The Data Analyst reports to the relevant Senior and is responsible for execution of data analytics procedures in the integrated internal audit approach, and for execution of standalone analytics projects. The incumbent will work closely with the entire RAS team to:

    •  Execution of data analytics and related projects/engagements;
    •  Engagement with clients and audit teams;
    •  Execution of complex and non-complex engagements;
    • Take accountability for deliverables and feedback to managers and stakeholders;
    •  Contributing to the development of analytics solutions and go-to-market opportunities and activities.

    Competencies:

    General:

    • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings using non-technical language
    • Demonstrated strong project management skill
    • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines effectively.
    • Demonstrated strong problem solving and interpersonal skills

    • Technical experience with one or more of the following tools: Excel, SQL, Power BI, DAX, Idea, and/or Python
    • Must have Dashboarding capabilities

    Preferred:

    Specification

    • Completed 3-year SAICA training contract
    • CTA (Completed)
    • ITC (Completed)
    • Full IFRS and IFRS for SMEs audit experience

    Preferred requirements

    • Ability to communicate in Afrikaans
    • Studying towards APC
    • Private sector experience
