    Head of Finance

    • A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead financial strategy, governance, and performance across a multi-entity group environment.
    • This is a senior leadership role suited to a commercially astute finance professional who can drive financial excellence, manage risk, and support strategic business decision-making.

    Purpose

    • You will be responsible for overseeing the full finance function across the group, ensuring strong financial performance, compliance, and governance while supporting business growth and strategy.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Financial Strategy & Performance

    • Leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
    • Reviewing and interpreting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results
    • Monitoring financial performance and identifying cost optimisation opportunities
    • Providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making

    Treasury & Risk Management

    • Managing treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity
    • Developing and maintaining currency hedging and risk management strategies
    • Monitoring financial risks and ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place

    Reporting, Compliance & Governance

    • Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across all group entities
    • Maintaining compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies
    • Overseeing statutory compliance, including tax (VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax)
    • Managing audit processes and maintaining relationships with external auditors
    • Ensuring compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements

    Financial Controls & Operations

    • Ensuring strong internal controls across all finance processes
    • Overseeing accounts payable, receivable, and credit control functions
    • Monitoring revenue and expense recognition and financial accuracy
    • Managing general ledger processes and financial reconciliations

    Group Finance & Commercial Support

    • Managing transfer pricing policies and group tax structures
    • Overseeing R&D incentives and financial optimisation initiatives
    • Managing group insurance policies and financial risk exposure
    • Supporting commercial decision-making across business units
    • Liaising with stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, to resolve financial matters

    Leadership & Team Development

    • Leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team
    • Driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
    • Building capability within the finance function to support business growth

    What we want?
    Key requirements:

    • CA(SA), CIMA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification
    • Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior finance or leadership role
    • Strong experience in group finance, reporting, and multi-entity environments at a global level
    • Proven experience in financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting
    • Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax, and financial governance

    Experience with:

    • Treasury and cash flow management
    • Audit and compliance processes
    • Financial systems (e.g. Syspro or similar ERP systems)
    • Advanced MS Office skills
    • Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking ability

    Platform and Compute Engineer

    • A leading organisation is seeking a Platform & Compute Engineer to support enterprise cloud, managed services, and infrastructure environments.
    • This role is ideal for a technically capable engineer with strong Microsoft platform experience, who can operate in a high-availability environment and support critical systems across 24/7 operations.

    THE ROLE

    • You will be responsible for maintaining the availability, performance, and stability of enterprise infrastructure across cloud and managed environments.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Infrastructure Support & Operations

    • Providing day-to-day support across server, network, and cloud environments
    • Managing incidents, problems, service requests, and change requests in line with ITIL practices
    • Troubleshooting technical issues and delivering effective resolutions
    • Supporting managed services environments and customer infrastructure

    Platform & Systems Management

    • Supporting Microsoft platform technologies, with a strong focus on:
    • Microsoft Intune
    • Microsoft SCCM
    • Administering and maintaining Windows Server environments, including:
    • Active Directory and Entra ID
    • DNS and identity services
    • Azure IaaS environments
    • Performing routine maintenance, backup validation, and failover testing

    Project & Change Support

    • Supporting new deployments, onboarding, and transition of environments into support
    • Implementing change requests, including impact and risk analysis
    • Supporting out-of-hours changes and maintenance activities where required
    • Contributing to project delivery and infrastructure improvements

    Monitoring, Documentation & Continuous Improvement

    • Maintaining accurate technical documentation and system records
    • Capturing recurring issues and performing root cause analysis
    • Identifying trends and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
    • Updating ticketing systems with clear and detailed progress notes

    Collaboration & Service Delivery

    • Working closely with project, transition, and service delivery teams
    • Supporting customer-facing reporting and incident documentation
    • Participating in on-call rotations and 24/7 support environments
    • Engaging in technical discussions and customer interactions where required

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
    Key requirements:

    • Diploma or Degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • 1–2 years' experience in infrastructure, support, or systems administration
    • Strong experience administering:
    • Microsoft Intune
    • Microsoft SCCM
    • Experience with Windows Server environments and services
    • Exposure to Azure IaaS environments
    • Strong understanding of ITIL-based service environments

    Advantageous:

    • Certifications such as:
    • Microsoft Azure (AZ-900, AZ-104)
    • Microsoft Endpoint Administrator (MD-102)
    • ITIL Foundation

    Exposure to:

    • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
    • VMware or Hyper-V
    • Server hardware environments (Dell, HP, IBM)
    • Scripting (PowerShell or similar)
