    Assistant Magazine Master Winterveld (Limpopo - Steelpoort)

    Description
    Functional Outputs

    • Responsible for Weed Control.
    • Coordinating and managing magazine compliance.
    • Ensure correctness of Magazine registers to physical stock, use correct colour pens for booking in and out.
    • Ensure that Magazine licences are available and not exceeded.
    • Ensure availability of stocks, internally and externally.
    • Maintain minimum stock levels.
    • Production Planning.
    • Loading Errors.
    • Balance Physical vs SAP.
    • Old Product – regular rework and management of old product.
    • Three way check of delivery notes, delivery note vs freight summary vs customer order vs available stock done by three individuals.
    • Check general appearance of delivery notes.
    • Ensure Full Order On Time.
    • Manage work attendance.
    • Manage overtime to not exceed prescribed hours.
    • Performance Management.
    • Ensure safety takes priority in all day to day activities.
    • Manage security of magazines.
    • Ensure sub ordinates always wear applicable PPE.
    • Ensure SOX compliance reports are completed.
    • Real time stock movement on SAP.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12.
    • Magazine Master Certificate CIE.
    • Driver’s License.
    • Minimum 1+ years of Magazine experience.
    • SAP Experience is an advantage.

    Process Operator Gr.2 (North West - Rustenburg)

    Description

    • Adhere to all safety regulations and work standards.
    • Practice good housekeeping
    • Comply with all legal requirements.
    • Prepared to change shift at short notice.
    • Active participation in BBS.
    • Manage stressful situations.
    • Physically monitor production process.
    • Conduct visual inspections on the process and equipment.
    • Report process deviations to the Foreman.
    • Communicate and assist team members in controlling the process.
    • Compile relevant area shift report at end of shift.
    • Examine equipment and complete safety checklist.
    • Report all at risk behaviors and unsafe conditions to the Foreman.
    • Maintain required housekeeping standards.
    • Conduct basic fault finding (obvious faults).
    • Applies Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Understand equipment failure modes and defect identification and reporting.
    • Demonstrate understanding of how equipment functions.
    • Hazard identification.
    • Conduct safety management system inspections, e.g. OSHA, ISO 14000/18000.
    • Conduct basic risk assessments.

    Requirements

    • Driver’s license.
    • Prepared to work shifts and to change shift on a short notice.
    • Prepared to do shift cover and work overtime during day-off including weekends.
    • Experience in a production environment.
    • Related exposure on a chemical plant and experience as a Process Controller would be an advantage.

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 or N3 with English, Maths and Science.

    Explosives Technician (Lesotho)

    Description

    • To implement the unit operations plan by understanding the plan and activities including all projects and key performance measures, communicating to the relevant stakeholders and monitoring implementation daily
    • To report on performance by tracking unit performance against targets, identifying progress and areas of concern, drafting reports and submitting quarterly and as required
    • To manage unit performance by tracking performance against targets, identifying anomalies and implementing corrective action monthly and as required
    • To comply with policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge and understanding of policies, participating in training sessions and sourcing answers to any queries daily and as required
    • To comply with processes by maintaining up-to-date knowledge and understanding of processes, implementing the correct process and addressing any areas of concern daily
    • To propose improvements to processes by identifying an area for improvement, presenting to line manager and providing additional information as relevant
    • To support the business with technical functions on electronic initiating systems application and deployment by contributing to and understanding the business objectives and technical requirements, staying informed of industry trends and technological and product advancements and providing technical expertise as required
    • To train and assist field crews with electronic initiating systems, product application, performance and optimization by developing and conducting training programmes, providing hands-on assistance to field crews and offering support and troubleshooting during operations as required
    • To contribute to blast design processes and optimal outcomes by performing observations to assess performance in real-world scenarios, determining the cause and potential solution to challenges or issues related to electronic initiating systems application and implementing and complying to improvements and changes in processes as required
    • To implement and oversee quality assurance and quality control measures for explosives supply and services, by understanding the quality requirements of the business, developing protocols for testing and inspecting products against minimum quality criteria, monitoring and evaluating data to identify areas for improvement and recommending potential solutions, as required
    • To build internal and external relationships by documenting results, summarizing performance successes and issues, documenting potential risks and possible solutions and providing both written and verbal feedback to customers, as required.
    • To implement expenditure within budget by understanding the components of the budget and approving expenditure in line with budget and policy monthly
    • To monitor expenditure against budget by receiving the financial report, reviewing expenditure totals against budget, addressing any areas of concern or anomalies and implementing corrective action monthly
    • To implement SHE practices by understanding required actions, implementing and reviewing within deadline or as per process.
    • To comply with SHE standards, processes and practices by maintaining knowledge and expertise in SHE and complying with requirements at all times
    • To maintain stakeholder relationships by liaising with key internal and external stakeholders, providing input and feedback actions, receiving feedback and contributions and collaborating as required
    • To maintain relationships with service providers by understanding and tracking service levels required and monitoring delivery against standards, identifying areas of concern and implementing corrective action monthly and as required 
    • To contribute to the team by participating in events, identifying areas of support required within the team and providing the required support, engaging with the team and being an active member of the team daily
    • To implement self-development activities by identifying areas of development, sourcing options for capacity development activities, sourcing approval and completing the activities successful as relevant
    • To be a contributing member of the organization as a whole by participating in company events, supporting company driven activities and living the Enaex values daily

    Requirements
    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    •  Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent with Maths and Science
    •  Diploma in Mining Engineering
    •  Blasting Certificate 
    •  BSc / Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering
    •  3 to 5 years’ experience in production mining - Drill and Blast environment
