    Laminating Machine Operator

    Key Responsibilities:

    Machine Operation & Setup

    • Set up and operate the laminating machine based on customer job specifications.
    • Conduct first-off sample checks and ensure approval before full production run.
    • Ensure machine settings comply with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
    • Change raw materials effectively during job changeovers.

    Maintenance & Safety

    • Perform routine maintenance and report any issues promptly.
    • Complete daily checklists and maintain tools and dies safely.
    • Ensure machine complies with all health, safety, and ISO9001 standards.
    • Actively enforce housekeeping and 5S standards: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.

    Quality Control

    • Monitor and adjust machine during production to maintain product quality.
    • Work closely with feeders and packers to ensure acceptable quality and quantity.
    • Ensure materials used match job requirements and minimize waste.
    • Maintain detailed production records and submit accurate reports daily.

    Communication & Reporting

    • Provide regular feedback to the Supervisor/Foreman on machine performance and any issues.
    • Ensure proper handovers between shifts and log incidents in real-time.
    • Contribute to SOP development and improvement of quality management systems.

    Requirements

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 year’s experience as a Laminating Machine Operator in a printing or manufacturing environment.
    • Knowledge of machine setup, operation, and maintenance.
    • Experience with quality systems such as ISO9001 / FSSC22000.
    • Machine Setter experience will be an added advantage.

    Glueing Machine Operator

    Key Responsibilities:

    Machine Operation & Setup

    • Operate and set glueing machines according to job specifications and customer requirements.
    • Ensure optimal machine performance without compromising quality and safety.
    • Perform machine changeovers and raw material replacements efficiently.
    • Manage machine settings, troubleshoot breakdowns, and report issues to management immediately.

    Quality Control

    • Perform first-off sample checks; ensure final product meets specifications.
    • Monitor quality throughout the run, and reduce waste through careful oversight.
    • Ensure signed samples are available and accessible during production.

    Maintenance & Safety

    • Conduct routine and preventative maintenance as per maintenance plan.
    • Complete and submit daily maintenance and production checklists.
    • Ensure all safety measures are strictly followed and machines are compliant.

    Team Coordination

    • Collaborate with feeders, packers, and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
    • Conduct effective handovers between shifts and communicate key issues.
    • Provide daily feedback to supervisors on machine performance and issues.

    Lean & 5S Management

    • Participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5S activities (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
    • Maintain high housekeeping and visual management standards.

    Documentation & Compliance

    • Ensure all process documents, production sheets, and incident reports are completed accurately and on time.
    • Adhere to ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 (Version 6) standards.
    • Support quality management and food safety systems as assigned.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications & Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience operating glueing machines in a manufacturing or printing environment.
    • Proven machine setup experience is highly advantageous.
    • Knowledge of ISO9001, FSSC22000, or similar quality management systems is beneficial.
    • Basic mechanical knowledge and machine troubleshooting skills.

    Die Cut Machine Operator

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Set up and operate die cut machines in line with customer specifications and work tickets.
    • Conduct routine machine checks, calibrations, and maintenance.
    • Perform quality checks and ensure accuracy of final products.
    • Monitor machine settings and adjust for optimal performance.
    • Supervise and guide feeders and packers on acceptable quality standards.
    • Complete daily production checklists and time sheets.
    • Label and log all dies and maintain proper die storage.
    • Comply with ISO9001, FSSC22000, and internal safety and quality standards.
    • Reduce material waste through efficient job execution.
    • Actively participate in shift handovers and continuous improvement efforts.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 year's experience operating Die Cut Machines in a manufacturing or printing environment.
    • Knowledge of machine setup and troubleshooting.
    • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read work instructions.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Adherence to health, safety, and ISO quality standards.

    Clam Shell Machine Operator

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operate and set up Clam Shell machinery according to standard procedures and work ticket specifications.
    • Understand and utilize the full capabilities of the machine to achieve optimal performance without compromising on quality or safety.
    • Ensure machine is running at maximum output while reducing waste and downtime.
    • Train and guide feeders, packers, and new personnel on operational standards and product quality.
    • Verify accuracy of jobs by checking first-off samples and ensuring sign-off by Production Manager.
    • Ensure all materials used are correct, available, and handled with care.
    • Complete and submit accurate production documentation daily.
    • Report breakdowns and maintenance issues immediately to management.
    • Adhere to and enforce company quality and safety standards (ISO9001 / FSSC22000 Version 6).
    • Carry out efficient changeovers, minor maintenance, and assist in breakdown resolution.
    • Maintain 5S housekeeping standards and participate in financial stock takes as required.
    • Act as a Management Representative for ISO9001:2015, FSC, SMETA, and a Food Safety Team Leader (FSSC22000 v6).
    • Generate Standard Operating Procedures with the team and implement best practices.

    Experience & Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience operating Clam Shell machinery in a printing/manufacturing environment.
    • Experience in machine setting is highly advantageous.
    • Familiarity with ISO9001 and FSSC22000 standards.

    Planning Administrator

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and manage tender documentation, submissions, and deadlines.
    • Liaise with internal departments to gather necessary information for tenders.
    • Maintain and update tender tracking systems and databases.
    • Assist in project planning schedules and resource allocation.
    • Ensure compliance with tender requirements and company standards.
    • Support bid preparation, including formatting, proofreading, and compiling documents.
    • Monitor tender portals and identify relevant opportunities.
    • Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding tender clarifications and updates.
    • Planning administration support.
    • Update and manage planning databases, spreadsheets, and documentation.
    • Monitor progress against plans and flag potential delays or issues.
    • Support resource allocation for key accounts and capacity planning.
    • Sales order processing.

    • Maintain compliance with internal procedures and planning standards.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Education:

    • Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration, project management, supply chain management or a related field.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 2-3 years tender administration, planning coordination, or procurement support.
    • Strong proficiency in excel.
    • Syspro will be advantageous.
