    Supply Chain Analytics Lead

    About the role

    • The Supply Chain Analytics Lead is responsible for driving continuous improvement across the Supply Chain by delivering fit-for-purpose and cost-effective analytics solutions.
    • This role acts as the custodian of Supply Chain data sets, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
    • The incumbent works closely with various Supply Chain and business stakeholders to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and optimize performance, enabling the business to meet its strategic goals.

    Key responsibilities

    • Continuous Improvement & Efficiency Optimisation: Identify opportunities for process, system, and reporting improvements to enhance Supply Chain efficiency and performance, focusing on delivering actionable insights.
    • Data Custodianship & Reporting: Own and manage Supply Chain data sets, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and timely reporting for business-critical functions, including Order-to-Cash, inventory, and service metrics.  Once reliable QSC data lake is in place, the incumbent would be responsible for Data Governance of South African data and would need to collaborate with the QSC Data Hub Team on a regular basis.
    • Analytics Solutions Development: Develop and deploy scalable analytics solutions using advanced tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI) to provide visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends across the Supply Chain.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain) and external logistics providers to gather, analyse, and interpret data, providing tailored reporting solutions that support business objectives.
    • Cost-Effective Decision Support: Use analytics to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, ensuring that Supply Chain operations are both efficient and aligned with financial goals.
    • KPI & Performance Management: Monitor and report on Supply Chain performance, tracking KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full) to provide insights that drive continuous improvement.
    • Master Data Quality: Identify data anomalies in customer, pricing, and product master data, working with relevant teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
    • Inventory Analysis & Optimisation: Perform routine inventory analyses and support Supply Chain optimisation projects, such as warehouse slotting and route planning, to ensure effective inventory management.
    • Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure all reporting adheres to compliance and quality standards, providing necessary documentation for audit and regulatory purposes.
    • Cross-Functional Support: Provide critical data and insights to support cross-functional teams, including Customer Service, helping to improve customer satisfaction and streamline operations.

    Qualifications and skills

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain operations, preferably in FMCG or a related industry.

    Preferred 

    • Honours degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

    Other Skills/Qualifications

    • Advanced knowledge of data analytics tools, including Power BI and others.
    • Detailed knowledge of data landscaping and associated technologies.
    • Working knowledge of SAP in the Order to Cash Workstream is required.
    • Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data is required.
    • Problem solving will be required daily to resolve customer issues that will most often be of a complex nature.  The incumbent will be required to work through datasets in various unfamiliar formats to extract the meaningful data with which they will need to work.
    • Understanding of business environment and ability to manage Supply Chain issues with the Sales team and customers.

    Storeman

    About the role

    • We are looking for a candidate to be responsible and ensure the correct and timeous receipt of materials onto the M-ERP system.
    • Maintaining accuracy of stock.
    • Ensuring that the transfer orders are picked accurately, and documents is filled in correctly.
    • Maintaining good customer service and meet production deadline timeously. 

    Key responsibilities

    • Receives goods and complete documentation to the required standard.
    • Draw raw materials and packaging components from locations as per Transfer orders and transfer to pre-assembly area, dispensary or production on plastic pallets.
    • Cover pallets with plastic wrap, clean all components, raw materials and bulk sent to production/dispensary, confirm picked material are correct, lot number, quantity and status are correct and move labels into Kardex Storage Unit and do movement on M-ERP (SAP)system to maintain stock accuracy.
    • Process returns material from Value Streams & Dispensary to suitable location timeously and complete stock movement on M-ERP to ensure that the system remains accurate, check that lot numbers and quantity of returned materials from production agree with System details and supply extra materials to production as required timeously.
    • Maintains stock accuracy in high rise racking.
    • Complies with all GMP & GMS standards in bulk store and maintains EHS standards in the bulk store.
    • Assessing condition of Turret Truck Machines, Forklifts and Pallet Trucks before use and complete required check list as specified in SOP.

    Qualifications and skills

    Required

    • Grade 12 or Equivelent.
    • Certificate/Diploma in Materials Handling will be an advantage.
    • Advance warehousing and material movement knowledge will be an advantage to have.
    • 2 years in warehouse environment Will be an advantage.

    Preferred

    • Turret Stock Picker & Forklift Driver’s License needed.

    Other Skills/Qualifications

    • Good interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure to a deadline and self-motivated.
    • Numeracy & accuracy.
    • Ability to work overtime and shifts work if required.

    Demand Planner

    About the role

    • Responsible for creating baseline unconstrained forecasts at Customer by SKU level using Statistical analysis and incorporating local market intelligence to generate an unbiased value/volume demand forecast for current and new products can be submitted to the Supply operation as a key part of the IBP/ S&OP process.
    • Support provided for IT aspects of process i.e. Demand Signals to sites. Use KPIs to measure Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Bias in the plans.

    • Assist and resolve data queries from internal and external customers including coordination and resolution of interface errors between systems when data is not being transmitted successfully.
    • Set up the data capture process ensuring that standardized ways of working are adopted in the data maintenance process.
    • Ensure that the team is trained, and data/system requirements are documented into SOP’s.
    • Work Collaboratively with other departments to ensure Continuous Improvement in E2E Processes.
    • Root Cause Analysis done on Poor Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Risks (OOS or SLOBS).

    Qualifications and skills

    Essential

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • APICS – CPIM or CSCP
    • 5+ years’ experience in Forecasting and data maintenance with corporate systems
    • Experience handling large amounts of data
