    Lead Field Service Technician

    Job Description
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maintain the Honeywell systems on the Customer Site as part of the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
    • Install, commission, and maintain Honeywell EBI Temaline Access Control systems across customer sites.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Honeywell DVM (Digital Video Manager) platforms.
    • Assist with diagnostics and basic maintenance of Honeywell XLS Fire panels.
    • Integrate biometric solutions (e.g., Idemia) into access control environments.
    • Perform system backups and recovery using Acronis or similar platforms.
    • Interface directly with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, configurations, and updates.
    • Collaborate with the Field Service Leader and broader team to drive service excellence and continuous improvement.

    Qualifications
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND / OR EXPERIENCE:

    • National Diploma in Electronics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    • 2 years of experience in building automation, access control, or security systems would be desirable
    • Full training provided
    • Hands-on experience with Honeywell EBI Temaline Access Control.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.

    PREFERRED:

    • Experience with Honeywell DVM and XLS Fire panels.
    • Familiarity with Idemia biometric systems.
    • Working knowledge of Acronis backup and recovery tools.
    • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical schematics.
    • Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.

    WORKING CONDITIONS/EQUIPMENT/TOOLS:

    • Drivers License and own vehicle is required to arrive at work and to be able to attend to standby calls or when work must be performed after normal working hours if required 
    • Administrative work needs to be performed in the office.
    • Adherence to Honeywell 5S principles. 
    • Tools will be provided by the company.
    • PPE will be provided by the company.
    • Report to team lead any unsafe conditions in working and non-working environment.

    Application Engineer II - APC

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with any required Advanced Process Control and Control Performance Monitoring related activities to improve energy conservation, reliability, safety, and profitability of the plant.
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of various controllers and evaluate whether they meet the intended objectives on a sustained basis. 
    • Review critically the control performance of the Advanced Process Controllers in the plant, suggest relaxation of the binding constraints and carry out the necessary tuning improvements, if necessary, to make the controllers further effective. 
    • Review the economic targets for the Advanced Process Controllers, suggest and incorporate necessary changes, to provide the right direction to the controllers. This may be required to incorporate the new economic indicators, if any, and make the controller to constantly work towards the current economic objectives. 
    • Identify, advise and incorporate modifications to the controller configuration, in terms of proposing addition of new variables/ constraints, deletion of the redundant variables, wherever found necessary.
    • Identify faulty regulatory control loops in the system (DCS level) and carryout tuning of existing regulatory controller at DCS. 
    • Improve workforce understanding of Advanced Process Control applications by assisting the training department in implementing training initiatives as they apply to Advanced Process Control 

    Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years of experience
    • Availability to travel when required for projects
    • Drivers license with own transport
    • Excellent verbal, written communication & presentation skills in English
    • Hands on application experience implementing Real-Time / Multi-Variable Optimization solutions in multiple industries including but not limited to Refining, Petrochemical, Gas Processing, & Oil & Gas 
    • Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical, Metallurgical or Electronic with a process control specialization)
    • Knowledge of process design/process operations 
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively work alone or as part of a team 
    • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities under deadlines 
    • Uses advanced analysis to identify issues and works with others to bring resolution to complex issues 
    • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to clearly present/communicate data using audience appropriate skills.
