    Commissioning Manager - Atlantis

    PURPOSE OF ROLE

    • The Commissioning Manager has the overall responsibility for managing and oversight of commissioning activities for the ATKSS project

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Development of testing and commissioning procedures for on-site commissioning activities.
    • Development of plant performance testing procedures.
    • Development of commissioning cost control procedure to capture additional works such as modifications to be approved
    • Ensure adequate document control is adhered to for applicable documentation such as records and certificates
    • Respond to pre-commissioning reviews
    • Compilation of commissioning certificates in collaboration with the commissioning team, contractors, and suppliers during the commissioning phases.
    • Accountable for the overall commissioning of the plant
    • Interfacing with the relevant disciplines to ensure that the commissioning procedures are in line with the design requirements.
    • Interfacing with the relevant design disciplines to ensure that Operating Procedures match the design.
    • Reporting to the site office.

    QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Technical Diploma in Engineering, or Bachelor’s degree in engineering
    • Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience
    • Preferred discipline is Electrical but will consider others as applicable

    COMPETENCIES

    • Experience in the commissioning of functional piping systems, MV and LV systems, and grid code in the power sector.
    • Experience in gas turbines and associated plant infrastructure is advantageous.
    • Permit to Work (Responsible Persons).
    • Knowledge of the principles of ISO quality systems.
    • Reading and understanding design documentation and technical information such that the relevant data for writing standards/guides and procedures.

    Project Administrator (Renewable Energy)

    PURPOSE OF ROLE

    The Project Administrator`s main area of responsibility is to support the Project Manager and Project Team with all project administrative and document control requirements.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Assist In coordinating projects correspondence/documents - i.e. delivering, filing, emailing, etc.
    • Manage correspondence registers.
    • Compile letters with content provided by the PM.
    • Issue & receive letters and other communications.
    • Review correspondence for editing purposes prior to Issue.
    • Take and circulate minutes of project meetings.
    • Coordinate venue bookings and project meetings.
    • Copying, scanning and printing of documents.
    • Answering of phones and direct calls.
    • Prepare presentations, letters, general typing, etc.
    • Responsible for facilitating the FFD process for new employees and assist with access and hosting for visitors for the project.
    • Any other general administration actions required by the FAM/Construction Manager/PM for the benefit of the department or PM/CLs to the benefit of the project/s.

    QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Grade 12 or equivalent SAQA approved qualification + 2 years related experience.
    • SAQA accredited Certificate/ Diploma in administrative field is advantageous.
    • Proven proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Acrobat Is essential.

    Chief Financial Officer

    PURPOSE OF ROLE

    Lesedi seeks an exceptional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a vital role in steering the financial direction of the company. The CFO will have a broad mandate to oversee all financial aspects of the company, serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, and ensure that financial strategies align with our long-term objectives. This strategic role demands not only financial acumen but also a visionary leadership approach to support and lead our growth and operational excellence.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Strategic Financial Leadership:

    • Lead all aspects of the company's financial functions, including monthly financial reporting, revenue management, and cost analysis.
    • Ensure robust financial systems and controls are in place, reviewing processes and internal controls for continuous improvement.
    • Provide detailed financial information for executive decision-making and board reviews, including budgets, reforecasts, and strategic financial planning.
    • Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits.
    • Prepare financial analyses for contract negotiations and product investment decisions.

    Regulatory Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensuring legal and statutory compliance, including IFRS compliance, tax filings, STATS SA returns, and BBBEE audits.
    • Maintain diligent oversight of financial audits, CIPC duties, and compliance with all regulatory bodies like FICA and SARB.
    • Ensure robust financial systems and controls are in place, reviewing processes and internal controls for continuous improvement.

    Strategic and Operational Finance:

    • Drive the treasury function, managing cash flow forecasts and the strategic management of debtors and creditors to enhance financial terms and operations.
    • Evaluate and advise on new business opportunities, tenders, and potential acquisitions, ensuring competitive pricing and optimal investment strategies.

    Stakeholder and External Relations:

    • Act as the primary financial interface for banks, financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
    • Manage relationships with key stakeholders including DTI, Eskom, investors, and shareholders, ensuring transparent communication and strategic alignment.

    Technology and System Oversight:

    • Guarantee the effective management of the company’s ERP system, maximizing functionality and overseeing external support services to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
    • Have oversight of the company’s IT department, aligning IT infrastructure and strategy with business objectives to enhance operational efficiency and innovation.

    QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • CA (SA) or similar qualification
    • At least 10 years post articles experience preferably in the project engineering / EPC or energy sector, supported by at least 5 years demonstrable experience in a senior role with proven decisive leadership qualities.
