    UAV Technician

    • A well-established company specializing in advanced drone technology and solutions, primarily focusing on the agricultural sector is seeking the above to be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining UAVs, conducting test flights, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while assisting with client demonstrations and on-site servicing.

    Minimum requirements for the role:

    • Must have a relevant tertiary qualification
    • Possession of an Unmanned Maintenance Service Technician certificate is an added advantage
    • Must have a Valid Remote Pilot Certificate or currently in the process of obtaining it
    • Previous experience in UAV maintenance or a related technical field is an advantage
    • Passion for drone technology, particularly in repair and maintenance
    • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Proficiency in both Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
    • Must have a valid drivers’ license and be willing to travel as required

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Diagnosing and repairing UAVs, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

    • Assisting sales representatives with product demonstrations for potential clients.
    • Travelling to customer sites for on-site servicing and support.

    • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices in UAV operations.
    • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients.
    • Setting up and configuring new drones for clients.

    Technical Sales and Product Manager - Lubricants

    • An established international chemical distributor is actively seeking the above to maximise profitability, control working capital, grow the industry portfolio, and achieve budgetary objectives for the selected product portfolio.

    Minimum requirements for the role:

    • Must have a relevant B.Sc. degree or equivalent qualification
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial/technical environment
    • Experience in the sales of raw materials into the Lubricants and Oil industries is essential
    • Formulation knowledge for these applications is advantageous
    • Previous experience with export-related markets would be an advantage
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to compile and present presentations and reports
    • Strong commercial drive, analytical mindset, and good interpersonal skills

    Key Account Manager Africa - Agrochemical

    • A well-established agrochemical manufacturer is seeking a dedicated Key Account Manager to be responsible for managing sales strategies, client training, and trials while ensuring compliance and supporting resource and forecast management across multiple countries in Africa.

    Minimum requirements for the role:

    • Must have a National Senior Certificate; Post matric qualification in Agronomy and Soil Sciences would be preferable
    • Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant experience in the agricultural chemical industry
    • Must have work experience in servicing clients in other African countries
    • Sound knowledge of the international market is essential
    • Must be able to gauge the level of understanding of the client in respect of new technology

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Managing the necessary registration and demonstration trials in various countries for the plant health product range.
    • Assisting in drafting crop programs, promotional material, and presentations for the plant health product range to help clients successfully promote and sell the products.
    • Maintaining solid technical knowledge of the plant health product range to assist distributors and farmers technically on farm and provide solutions to their problems.
    • Understanding the requirements of the farmer and how and where the plant health product range fits into their farming practice.
    • Attending farmers’ days and promoting the plant health product range.
    • Ensuring the technical assistant undertakes the necessary demonstration trials on farms.
    • Training clients in the plant health product range.
    • Evaluating competitor products in various markets to strategically position the plant health product range.
    • Appreciating the importance of customer satisfaction and responding accordingly.
    • Managing and guiding shared resources in African countries.
    • Assisting the Commercial Manager with timely forecasts of the products required in various countries by the respective clients.
    • Conforming to relevant SHEQ rules and regulations according to company policy.
    • Ensuring adherence to high safety standards.
    • Solving problems systematically.
    • Adhering to all internal control policies as directed by Management.
    • Undertaking any legal ad hoc tasks as directed by Management.

    Portfolio Manager Herbicides- Southern Africa

    • An established manufacturer of specialised agrochemicals is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to oversee the Herbicides, Seed Applied Technology, and Adjuvants portfolio. Responsibilities include new product development, portfolio management, and go-to-market execution. The role also involves identifying market opportunities, supporting launches, developing training and marketing materials, and managing product life cycles. It requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective communication and alignment across functions and regions.

    Minimum requirements for the role:

    • Must have a B. Sc. Agric degree, and or Business degree with AVCASA registration
    • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in an Agricultural Chemical environment with specific focus on Herbicides, Seed applied Technology and Adjuvants
    • Broad knowledge of Agrochemical and Agricultural input business with good industry credibility and value chain expertise
    • Proven expertise in business and market intelligence, including the application of marketing concepts and analytical tools
    • Solid understanding of market dynamics and relevant regulatory frameworks
    • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret and apply financial data in decision-making
    • Practical knowledge of crop-specific agricultural practices, including the implementation and management of spray programmes

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Responsible for delivering budget targets for the categories.
    • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the markets and submarkets (based on market information databases).
    • Contributing to market intelligence projects (e.g., market surveys, pricing surveys).
    • Understanding all technical aspects and positioning of different products in the spray programmes.
    • Contributing to product and market opportunity assessments and defining business cases.
    • Responsible for conducting range GAP analysis and providing guidance to R&D budgets and acquisition strategies.
    • Defining portfolio strategies, crop spray programmes, and product strategies, including the 4 Ps (Product, Place, Price, Promotion).
    • Responsible for new product introductions, launches, and promotional programmes.
    • Driving the procurement process for product launches, including ensuring compliance with all related internal systems.
    • Responsible for price positioning of the range, including providing value propositions and conducting competitive benchmark analyses to support pricing decisions.
    • Contributing to marketing assumptions for the yearly budget across the categories.
    • Managing promotional and advertorial campaigns and functions related to current products and portfolios.
