Your Mission:

• Drive business performance through assuming a key role within the Woodyard and Fibre line operations team to deliver high quality financial information and commercial insights.
• Provide insight into key cost drivers and develop cost models to support scenario planning, benchmarking, and optimization.

• Advanced skills in SAP (preferably SAP superuser) with SAP costing knowledge advantageous
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Data Analytics tools (Eg: MS Excel / Python / R / MS Power BI / Tableau / QlikView)

Your mission:

• Have a detailed knowledge of rolls and rotating and various equipment (centre lathes, milling machines, slotting machine, pedestal drill, hydraulic presses, auxiliary equipment) and repairs thereof.
• Must be able to repair, overhaul, assemble rotating equipment and auxiliary equipment, bearings, seals
• Must have knowledge of measuring equipment including tolerances and fits
• Prepared to work overtime when required, and carry out standby duties in Fitting / Turning

Your Mission:

• Development of technical solutions for the Automation & Instrumentation (A&I) engineering discipline for capital projects
• Provide technical support and utilize the Front-End Loading (FEL) process to develop proper engineering solutions for capital projects
• Accountable for A&I project engineering and verification of construction work against the design within the designated plant areas
• Compiles and ensure proper scoping, planning, quality compliance, execution and commissioning of A&I scope in all projects and including successful shutdown execution
• Monitors the A&I scope within projects to ensure they are completed within committed time, scope, quality and agreed budget.
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of the A&I Mondi Engineering Standards, Processes and Procedures which help in governance, quality and compliance

Your profile:

• BSc / BTech Electrical / Electronic Engineering qualification
• 5 years’ relevant experience in instrumentation engineering in an industrial environment, with specific focus on projects
• Must understand projects elements which includes scope, time, quality, costs, human resource, communication, risk and procurement management
• Must understand projects life cycles
• Knowledge and experience in engineering design, developing and maintaining systems to meet required specifications, construction, commissioning and handover phases of project execution

Your Mission

• Reporting to the Safety Manager the incumbent will be responsible for spearheading the Safety programme in our Central Forestry Operations.
• Ensure that Mondi and contractor personnel comply with safety legislation and Mondi’s safety requirements.
• Facilitate meeting of safety criteria required for certification with external auditing bodies (FSC, PEFC and NOSA)
• Facilitate and monitor compliance with legal requirements and Mondi standards.

Your Profile

• National Diploma in Safety Management / Forestry or equivalent qualification
• 5 years Forestry experience preferably with strong safety focus
• NOSA 5 Star Navigation,
• NOSA / OHSAS 18001 Internal Auditor
• Incident / Accident Investigation
• Construction Regulations
• First Aid – Level two
• Knowledgeable on relevant OSH Act Legislation
• Willing to travel and give after hours emergency support
• Fluency in Zulu is preferable

Your profile

• BSc Chemical Engineering Degree
• B Tech Pulp & Paper will be advantageous
• Valid South African Drivers License
• Professional Registration with ECSA will be advantageous
• 5 - 10 years’ relevant process engineering experience within Heavy Engineering environment or Pulp & Paper Industry
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior technical and people management position
• SAP experience is essential
• Must have project management experience
