    In this role you’ll make an impact by:

    Management Assistant

    In This Role You'll Make An Impact By

    • Being part of the commercial team and supporting the sales processes including reporting, analyzing, and documenting the internal and external data and dynamics. You will work closely with your colleagues in the Novonesis offices across the Middle East and Africa.

    The role involves 2 major areas of responsibility. You’ll make an impact by working on:

    • Business analysis
    • Manage sales tracking tools, report on important information and track sales trends.
    • Develop and maintain sales performance reports, dashboards, and forecasts to provide the sales team and management with actionable insights.
    • Monitor distributor contracts, monthly sales estimates, and analysis of ongoing opportunities.
    • Support the sales team in creating data, presentations, and proposals through data-driven insights.
    • Analysis of market trends including competitor analysis and identify potential threats and opportunities.
    • Administrative and Corporate Support 
    • Support the Regional Director/ General manager on ad-hoc activities related to office management.
    • Create and execute processes for vendor management and improve the efficiency of office-related operations.
    • Support the Regional Director in South Africa towards Novonesis’ efforts on sustainability, and advocacy through strong analysis of policy, and market dynamics. 
    • Must be willing to travel if required for the job, both within SA and internationally.

    To Succeed You Must

    • At least a Bachelor’s or equivalent qualification in finance, business, or marketing. MBA will be an advantage.
    • 2-3 years’ experience in managing data, and analysis either in a consulting or a marketing role.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Possesses strong acumen related to business and sales dynamics.
    • Strong drive, responsible, goal-oriented, well organized, and self-motivated, being able to drive projects and tasks independently.
    • High level of organization and detail orientation and demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize.
    • Fluency in English (written/spoken).

    Lab Coordinator

    Main Responsibility Areas Are

    •  Execution/daily operation of the laboratories
    •  Quality, food quality and compliance incl. environmental requirements
    •  Working environment and safety
    •  Operational performance
    •  NPD projects coordination
    •  Customer visits and on-site demo activities.

    Leadership tasks 

    • Develop and maintain competencies and capabilities to ensure efficiency and quality in baking and flour analyses labs.
    • Develop, support and coach the lab technicians, test bakers, research associates, individually and as a team
    •  Develop, support and coach the quality coordinators, individually and as a team

    Operational performance 

    •  Ensure high quality of execution excellence in the laboratories
    •  Support a high operational performance (quality of batch execution) in the flour analyses and baking application lab.
    •  Active participation to the RIGP projects (new product development and near to market projects)
    •  Equipment and cleaning activities management.

    Safety and Working Environment

    • The Lab manager has an important role for safety and working environment responsibility for the baking and flour analyses lab safety which is furthermore supported by entire Innovation and Technology Center management team.
    •  Drive development and maintenance of relevant safety and working procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment (physical, psychological, ZEAL) in the Labs
    •  Ensure that the labs comply to current OHS requirements
    •  Ensure that Labs comply to current regulations concerning handling of enzymes (ZEAL)
    •  Ensure good contact to external regulatory offices regarding safety and environmental regulation
    • Quality and compliance 
    •  The Lab Coordinator is responsible for overall Quality and ISO. The execution of tasks related to Quality and ISO can be shared with the other lab department managers when relevant.

    Areas Of Responsibility

    •  Ensure that Baking Lab is in compliance to all standards; GMP, food, quality and environmental standards
    •  Ensure product safety, food safety and quality by development and maintenance of a well-functioning ISO and Quality environment
    •  Ensure that staff is adequately informed and trained/developed
    •  Ensure that the department complies to current internal and external requirements in collaboration with QM
    •  Ensure that the department complies to current regulations concerning the external environment

    Qualifications

    •  An academic degree – preferably M.Sc. in food/chemistry engineering technology or science
    •  Good people management skills
    •  High safety mindset
    •  Excellent English skills written as well as spoken
    •  Understanding of the Quality and food related ISO systems
    •  5+ years' experience in baking industry
    •  Understanding on baking ingredients and different baking technologies (bread, cake, biscuit. etc.)

    Industry Specialist

    In this role you’ll make an impact by:

    We are looking for an experienced Industry Technical Specialist to join our Household Care team covering Middle east. You will be the responsible person for:

    • Market specific technical & formulation knowledge in terms of ingredient usage, formulation practices, technical innovation trends & industry movement
    • Sparring partner & input-provider to the sales force represented across the region. Act as a regional technical specialist and ensure best-practice & insight sharing
    • High impact meetings & key customer interactions together with sales, marketing & business development colleagues, when a specialized technical dialogue is needed to inspire & convince customer’s R&D teams
    • Work in close collaboration with the HHC labs to develop proof of concepts which meet customer and project expectations

    To succeed you must hold:

    • Relevant advanced degree (M.Sc.) within chemistry, bio-technology or science or bachelors degree engineering
    • 8-10 years of experience within the Household Care industry
    • Strong track record of building detergent formulations & technical concepts incl. in-depth knowledge of surfactants, builders & specialty ingredients
    • Ability to drive inspirational & convincing dialogues with customers
    • Great network skills to build business & partnerships externally with customers, academia and industrial associations
    • Willingness to travel up to 50% of working time
    • Knowledge of French would be a plus
    • Location: Shall be based in Turkey or Dubai

    Account Manager-Animal Health

    Join us as Account Manager for our Animal health business

    In this role you’ll make an impact by:

    • Manage direct accounts and distributors and accomplish financial, sales, and profit targets in the assigned region for Novonesis® Animal Health business in line with organizational plans.
    • Lead and grow business in assigned territory for Novonesis® Animal Health businesses across Silage, Ruminants, and Poultry across direct accounts and channel partners.
    • Ensure the channel partner strategy and the sales objectives and targets are fulfilled or exceeded.
    • Identify opportunities for customer trials, and marketing initiatives to support product positioning and roll out Novonesis® service offerings complementing our product performance.
    • In conjunction with relevant technical support teams, provide technical support related to product performance at key accounts and channel partners.
    • Provide timely rolling sales forecasts, to the demand planners, through conversations with customers and channel partners and ensure supply on time.
    • Create annual account plans for key customers and channel partners for their long-term growth and ensure direction is in alignment with global marketing plans.
    • Work with the technical teams to draft and execute the training needs of channel partners.
    • Ensure timely updates and internal reporting, on all business communication, including market trends, competitor activities, and other external dynamics that impact the business.
    • Maintain account profiles, update opportunities, and call reports for all direct accounts on Novonesis® internal CRM systems.
    • Be able to represent Novonesis® on industry forums and be the voice of our solutions in trade shows and conferences, when needed.
    • Guide the potential market opportunities and support the regulatory direction for future product registration.

    To succeed you must hold:

    • University degree or equivalent qualification in Animal, agriculture, or life sciences.
    • Evidenced knowledge of animal nutrition, health, and production of animal nutrition-related products
    • At least 5 years experience in animal health and nutrition-related sales, with a solid understanding of application and product formulations.
    • Understanding and experience in feed formulations involving probiotics and enzymes is an added advantage.
    • Excellent track record of building strong customer relationships & techno-commercial execution in the Animal Health segment, both in developing and managing complexity in direct Key accounts and channel partners.
    • Strong leadership and facilitator competencies with distributors and end-user customers, including at owners and senior management level.
    • Ability to identify customer needs and translate needs into mutually beneficial solutions.
    • Strong drive, responsible, goal-oriented, well organized, and self-motivated, being able to develop regions independently.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and demonstrated proficiency in MS Office software (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Willingness to travel ~50% of the time primarily in the assigned region but also internationally when required.
