Develop, implement and improve the health and safety plans, programmes and procedures in the workplace.
Carry out regular inspections of equipment to identify hazards and risks that can impact workplace and food safety and take appropriate action to ensure compliance.
Respond to and investigate concerns and complaints from employees and take appropriate action.
Investigate accidents and incidents that occur in the workplace, establish root causes and recommend remedial action.
Drive PPE compliance through line management.
Coordinate all safety training required by the organization.
Establish and coordinate the health and safety committee with the appropriate members and numbers of representatives.
Discuss, report and keep records of safety related incidents.
Support environmental audits in the identification of risk and providing reports and recommendation
Advise on legislation and make recommendations related environmental risk.
Requirements:
Btech: Environmental Health or related qualification.
4 Years Experience in a health & safety role in operations, FMCG will be advantageous .
Audit experience in an integrated SHE Programme.
Knowledge & Implementation of the ISO Management system
