    Talent Acquisition Specialist

    About the Role

    As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will:

    • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
    • Source, screen, and interview candidates using a variety of innovative methods.
    • Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of top talent for current and future opportunities.
    • Represent NSS at career fairs and networking events, championing our brand and EVP.

    Job Requirements
    What We’re Looking For

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Registration as a Psychometrist will be beneficial.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in recruitment, onboarding, or talent acquisition, ideally across multiple brands or business units and levels of the business.
    • Extensive experience working with applicant tracking systems.
    • Deep knowledge of employer branding
    • Proven success in high-volume and specialized recruitment, including headhunting.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • A proactive, results-driven approach and a passion for delivering quality outcomes.

    HR Generalist

    Purpose of the Role

    • To provide comprehensive HR operational support across all areas including recruitment, industrial relation, HR administration, training, and HR systems management. The role ensures the smooth day-to-day functioning of the HR department, supports compliance, and strengthens employee relations in a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

    About the role

    As our HR Generalist, you will:

    Recruitment & Onboarding:

    • Oversee operational level recruitment and selection for operators, packers and other production roles
    • Liaise with line managers to define job needs and coordinate shortlisting and interviews
    • Oversee onboarding, induction, and new employee documentation

    Industrial Relations:

    • Handle daily IR matters: warnings, hearings, grievances, and consultations
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping of disciplinary actions
    • Engage regularly with supervisors and shop stewards to maintain positive labour relations

    Time & Attendance Management:

    • Manage and maintain the Trach Tech / Webregister system
    • Track clock-ins, overtime, absenteeism, and leave trends
    • Prepare validated data for Group Payroll submission

    HR Administration & HRIS Maintenance

    • Maintain accurate employee records and update the HR Information Systems (HRIS)
    • Manage employee life cycle data (appointments, changes, exits)
    • Prepare monthly HR reports on headcount, absenteeism, and turnover
    • Ensure compliance with BCEA, and internal HR policies, and take ownership EE data management and submissions

    Training & Development

    • Coordinate skills, technical, and Health & Safety training across departments
    • Maintain training registers, attendance records, and training matrix
    • Coordinate WSP/ATR and maintain SETA compliance
    • Identify training needs in collaboration with supervisors and HR Manager

    Employee Engagement & Communication

    • Support HR Manager with staff engagement, wellness, and communication initiatives
    • Plan and execute internal social events, team-building, and recognition activities

    Job Requirements
    What we're looking for

    • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related field
    • Minimum 3 years as a HR Officer or HR Generalist in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
    • Proficient in MS Office and PaySpace; exposure to Trac Tech/Webregister advantageous
    • Knowledge of SETA submissions, EE reporting, and Health & Safety training administration
    • Strong people orientation with a genuine passion for working directly with employees and building positive workplace relationships

    Quality Assurance Assistant

    Job Description

    • The role involves compiling annual product quality reviews, driving the supplier approval program, assisting with audits, customer complaints, and batch release, as well as providing administrative support.

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Investigate and co-ordinate customer complaints, including trending and corrective actions.
    • Maintain supplier and manufacturer documentation and drive the QA-28 approval process for raw and packaging materials.
    • Manage the approved supplier, material and manufacturer list (QA-26).
    • Compile annual product quality review plans and reports, following up on corrective and preventative actions.
    • Manage the Annual GMP Training Procedure, ensuring all records are accurate and training is performed on time.
    • Assist with batch release if required by reviewing production batch documentation prior to product release.
    • Provide support for general QA activities.

    Job Requirements
    Essential: Grade 12

    • Desired: BTech in Quality Management Systems / Chemistry, BSC in Food science / Chemistry+ or similar .

    Experience:

    • Essential: 2 years QA/QC experience in a pharmaceutical environment
    • Desired: Experience with Quality Management Systems, Customer complaint investigations, and familiarity with annual product review

    Knowledge:

    • Food Safety / HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices

    Job Requirements
    What are we looking for:

    • Relevant tertiary IT qualification.
    • 4+ years’ experience in MS SQL server, business intelligence, data .warehousing ERP and programming basics.
    • Knowledge of tools such as Power BI, SSRS, SSAS & MS SQL.
    • Knowledge of Syspro would be advantageous. 
    • Strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills.
