    Power BI Engineer

    • We’re looking for a Business Intelligence & Reporting Specialist who will play a key role in driving profitability and business success by delivering world-class BI solutions, insightful reporting, and innovative dashboards.

     What You’ll Do

    • Partner with stakeholders to deliver accurate, reliable, and timely business intelligence solutions that support decision-making.
    • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and views to improve visibility of performance, trends, and opportunities.
    • Lead regulatory and compliance reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to industry standards.
    • Oversee data governance and quality, ensuring integrity and trust in reporting.
    • Drive innovation and automation in BI processes, eliminating repetitive tasks and enabling self-service analytics for stakeholders.
    • Manage, mentor, and guide junior analysts while taking ownership of month-end and ad hoc reporting processes.

    What We’re Looking For

    • 5–7 years’ experience in MIS, BI, or reporting within insurance or financial services.
    • Solid experience in data extraction, transformation, reporting, and visualization.
    • Strong proficiency with tools such as Power BI, SQL (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), QlikView, R/Python, ETL, and Report Builder.
    • Proven ability to lead in data analytics, customer segmentation, scorecard creation, and performance measurement.
    • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS advantageous).
    • Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus.

    Qualifications

    • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Information Management.
    • Microsoft BI certification is a strong advantage.

    Implementation Engineer

    • We are seeking an experienced Implementation Engineer to join our team and play a key role in deploying and maintaining complex insurance systems. In this role, you will configure and customise the Sapiens IDIT platform to support a wide range of insurance products, workflows, and compliance requirements.
    • You will be responsible for setting up products, workflows, documents, user roles, payment plans, and claims processes using IDIT setup wizards, while collaborating closely with Business Analysts to translate requirements into functional system configurations. The role also involves testing, managing promotions, supporting release pipelines, and resolving system defects.

    What we’re looking for:

    • 3–6 years’ experience in insurance technology implementation (Sapiens IDIT, Guidewire, Duck Creek, Tial, or similar).
    • Strong technical background in SQL, APIs (REST/SOAP), XML/JSON.
    • Solid knowledge of insurance products (motor, property, liability, commercial lines) and compliance (FSCA, POPIA).
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

    Overview:

    • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Analyst / Project Consultant with strong project management skills and SAP knowledge. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and IT solutions, ensuring that projects are delivered effectively while driving process improvements and system enhancements across diverse business areas.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and support projects by applying established project methodologies to meet business requirements.
    • Conduct business analysis, including evaluation, documentation, process design, and implementation of solutions.
    • Work with stakeholders at all levels to define project objectives, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.

    Education & Experience:

    • Currently studying towards a SAP qualification (essential).
    • 5–7 years’ business experience within a functional business area, and/or 4+ years’ detailed application experience.
    • Advanced understanding of system complexity, data logs, and functional business processes.
