    Store Manager

    Job Description    

    • An exciting and challenging opportunity has become available for a Store Manager within Tekkie Town, Chatsworth leading a team of staff. This role will report directly to the Area Sales Manager of Tekkie Town. Our ideal candidate should be based in Chatsworth or surrounding areas.
    • As a Store Manager at Tekkie Town, your responsibilities include overseeing the store's operations to maximize branch profitability. This involves achieving and surpassing monthly targets, minimizing stock losses, managing expenses, and effectively leading the store team.

    Qualifications    

    • Grade 12 / Matric

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    Visual Merchandise Specialist

    Job Description    

    • Tekkie Town is seeking to employ a Visual Merchandise Specialist who will be responsible to develop and execute compelling visual merchandising strategies and directives across all retail stores, ensuring consistent brand presentation, enhancing the customer shopping experience, and ultimately driving sales and profitability through captivating product displays and store layouts

    Qualifications    

    • Matric (National Senior Certificate)
    • A Diploma or Certificate in Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, Fashion Design, Interior Design, or a related creative/retail field

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience    

    • 5 years of progressive experience in visual merchandising within a retail environment

    HR Administrator

    Job Description    

    • Tekkie Town is seeking to employ an HR Administrator on a fixed term basis until December 2026. The HR Administrator plays an important supportive and administrative HR role for the Store Operations teams. The successful applicant will need to be thorough with excellent attention to detail and must possess well-developed organisational skills. 
    • The position will require the ability to work under pressure to meet specific deadlines and to smoothly and efficiently deal with numerous issues. 

    Qualifications    

    • Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
    • A degree or qualification in Human Resources or related field is preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience    

    • Experience working in a retail environment is a plus. 
    • Proven 1- 2 years experience as an HR Administrator or in a similar HR support or administrative role
    • Strong understanding of HR practices and employment legislation. 
    • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    • Ensure all HR projects are completed in a reasonable time frame

    • Provide professional dispute resolution internally, including guidance on internal conflict/dispute procedures (e.g., grievance application procedures) to ensure compliance with Company processes.
    • Ensure strict adherence to the Company’s code of conduct.
    • Monitor, evaluate, and report on IR activities by keeping data up to date, maintaining accurate records, and preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
    • Manage and provide support to stores in following the correct protocol for reporting disciplinary or IR issues.
