Job Description

• Implement data and information management operating standards, including data quality, data lifecycle management, metadata management and data privacy and protection, in line with relevant data governance frameworks, policies, standards, processes and procedures.
• Support the business in understanding how data is collected, stored, used and deleted by applying appropriate tools and methodologies to improve the adoption of information management practices and accountability.

Data & Analytics Experience (3–4 Years)

• Proven experience in data lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of data artefacts, including gathering and documenting both business and technical requirements to support solution development.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, metadata management, data analysis and data validation.
• Experience in understanding data structures, data repositories and various database types, as well as how data flows between systems.
• Knowledge of banking and related regulatory standards, including compliance requirements, risk identification, reporting and risk management.
• Understanding of data security, data quality and their impact on business processes.
• Understanding of information risk, data privacy and information protection, including relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to apply data governance policies and standards, interpret regulations and align them with business requirements.

Job Description

• Our client in the banking industry is looking for an experienced SAP SAC & BPC Planning Developer with strong capability in designing, developing and deploying end-to-end planning solutions within SAP Analytics Cloud and BPC environments. Skilled in data modelling, integration and Analytical Application development using JavaScript, with solid understanding of cloud architecture, DevOps practices and data governance. Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and deliver secure, high-quality planning systems across the SAP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

SAP SAC & BPC Planning Skills

Ability to develop in BPC & SAP Analytical Cloud Planning (SAC) and understanding of technical objects and data flow within SAC Engineering Activities:

• Evaluate user requirements and advise on design and content of software engineering required to deliver required features.
• Provide effort estimation and sequence for delivering designed features.
• Develop and configure designed features into SAP SAC & BPC Planning according to applicable architecture, standards and policies.
• Design and develop data integration patterns into SAP SAC & BPC Planning.
• Utilize DevOps practices and tools and deliver in alignment against the Always On, always secure stream of work.
• Implement data governance, data management and data security features applicable to the storage and transit of data to and within the SAP SAC & BPC Planning.
• Perform component integration testing on engineered software.
• Provide guidance to testers on how engineered software should be tested.
• Assist with system integration testing on engineered software.
• Plan cutover or migration activities required to implement required features.
• Deploy software to production and perform planned cutover activities.
• Provide technical thought leadership around how new concepts should be architected and designed within SAP SAC & BPC Planning.
• Participate and contribute into SAP SAC & BPC Planning cloud journey and build solutions using cloud tools when applicable.
• Build out complex planning models making use of the Analytical Application Capabilities within SAP SAC & BPC Planning solution.
• Strong JavaScripting skills to enable the scripting on the Analytical Application in SAP SAC & BPC Planning solution.

Production support where needed

• Investigate and resolve defects or reconciliation breaks post implementation.
• Provide support and knowledge sharing to other resources.
• Support production stability initiatives and automation the jobs when needed.
• Support and maintain the solutions built on SAP SAC & BPC Planning.

Support Activities

• Participate in the SAFE Agile Ceremonies as per SBG Group Adopted Operating Model e.g. Pre PI-Planning, PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Stand-ups, Inspect and Adapt workshops, System Demos and Solution Demos (whichever is applicable).
• Provide regular update to the Scrum Master/Engineering Lead/RTE on the progress, risks and blockers where applicable.
• Effective owning and execution of allocated story items.
• Ensure feature/story reporting tools (e.g. Jira) are updated with accurate information and status update.

Qualifications

• SAP SAC Analytical Cloud Planning Certification
• BPC Certification and development experience of 5 years.
• JavaScripting Certification & 5 years’ experience.
• BW Advantageous
• Experience in the Financial Services Industry Preferred
