A bit about the role:

A renowned Insure-Tech company is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join an ever-growing Development team. This role will see you work across multiple projects.

Your daily adventures include:

• Expanding on existing NodeJS-driven APIs and creating new ones as their product suite and third-party integrations expand.
• Expand existing C# APIs and create new ones as product suite and third-party integrations expand.
• Assisting with deciding and planning which features we will build, and how they are architectured and implemented.
• Ensuring that secure and robust coding practices are being adhered to.
• Working closely with your team, which includes other Software Engineers, QA’s, Product Managers, and Designers as well as members of the broader team.
• Testing your work, with as much automation as is useful.
• Ensuring the code you’ve created can work in any AWS environment, with plenty of help from the AWS experts in the team.
• Ensuring your solutions are well documented, so other developers, enjoy reading.

What it takes to succeed:

• Highly proficient in a full stack tech stack, experience with frontend frameworks like React
• Ability to work on your own, figuring out how to build something new with little more than a brief.
• Familiarity with the concepts of style guides, pattern libraries & design systems, and writing modular, reusable code.
• A dynamic thinker with the ability to contribute to problem-solving design-oriented user experience issues.
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Experience in helping other developers improve the quality of their output and technical solutions, and are willing to show how you prefer to do this as part of the interview process

A bit about the role:

A renowned Insure-Tech company is looking for a Software Tester to join an ever-growing Quality Assurance team. This role will see you work across multiple projects.

Your daily adventures include:

• Working closely with the QA lead to design, maintain, and execute test cases
• Defining and communicating corrective actions for failed tests practices
• Participating in functional and technical design sessions to ensure QA is part of the design considerations
• Documenting and reporting on testing activities
• Interacting with the Product, Actuarial, and Operations teams to resolve issues that arise during planning, testing, and other product phases.
• Test planning and test progress reporting (including the management of all errors during the testing phase).
• Analysis and resolution of staging and production systems and values errors.
• Assisting with testing automation across multiple platforms.
• Assisting with financial impact testing of our underwriting and policy administration systems

What it takes to succeed:

• Minimum 3-5 years of Quality Assurance and software testing experience
• ISTQB Certified (minimum Foundation level) or similar
• Experience in web and mobile testing
• Experience in API testing tool
• Experience with test automation frameworks is desirable
• Experience with underlying technology stack would be advantageous (Node.js & React.js)
• Fast learner. with a passion for keeping track of the details that matter
• Creative problem solver
• Ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with using test management or bug management tools.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

• Experience in implementing monitoring, incident, alerting, and escalation systems
• Knowledge in optimizing data platforms, pipelines, and applications
• Experience implementing DR/BCP practices and procedures
• Experience in managing real-time and analytical data architectures
• Experience with Python/R/Node.JS/Bash
• Experienced in managing SQL and NoSQL databases
