    Senior HR Business Partner

    Purpose of the position:

    • The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for supporting programme operations and the HR Director with HR projects and special periodic activities.
    • The role requires a hands-on approach and operational involvement to ensure an employee-oriented, high-performance culture with emphases on empowerment, quality assurance, relationship building, organisational development, employee wellness, employee recognition, labour relations, as well as SOP and policy development.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Degree in HR / Industrial Psychology / Social Sciences
    • 5 years’ HR Operations experience
    • 3 years’ experience in the NGO sector (advantageous)
    • Experience working in a large organisation that spans different geographical regions
    • Well-developed knowledge and understanding of SA labour legislation and disciplinary procedures
    • Good understanding of HR systems, Performance Management processes, HRIS reporting and HR technology
    • An enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive and collaborative work environment across the organisation
    • Committed to excellence, continuous learning and development and achieving success
    • Resilient with a sense of agility and urgency to adapt to a constantly evolving landscape
    • Advantageous: Fluency in isiXhosa, isiZulu, Tswana, Sotho or other official South African language

    Duties and Responsibilities    
    Strategic HR:

    • Ensure that the HR strategy is communicated and rolled out to the organisation.
    • Champion the organisational values (professionalism, empowerment, appreciation and respect) and support the institutionalisation into the culture of the organisation
    • Partner with management to effectively manage change and transition to meet organisational goals.

    HR Operations:

    • Support management by providing human resources advice, data and reports to expedite decision making.
    • Use business data to measure gaps and successes and find solutions to close such gaps.
    • Manage the HR Information System, ensuring quality control, reliability and integrity of employee data and information.
    • Support monthly payroll by ensuring timeous query resolution and submission for payroll processing by the HR Operations team
    • Ensure all training and HR statutory and funder reporting requirements are met timeously and are of high quality.
    • Oversee employment contract administration and the issuing of annual employment contracts in line with funding.
    • Ensure the implementation and maintenance of policies and standard operating procedures

    Employee Relations

    • Oversee employee relations and ensure fair labour practices.
    • Support Programme Operations teams with formulation of charges, investigations, preparation of initiators
    • Leverage working relationships with all staff to build strong connections, cooperation, and collaboration.
    • Support CCMA representation

    Job Grading

    • Support with the job evaluation system, advising on job design, job descriptions and the correct grading of jobs.

    Talent Acquisition & Talent Management

    • Support effective integration with the talent management team and HR Operations team

    Performance Management

    • Oversee the performance management system to meet the needs of the organisation.
    • Objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult performance issues by acting as a neutral advocate.
    • Facilitate and lead all performance management review periods and processes

    Support HR Operations team reporting

    • Facilitate and lead HRIS & HRH reporting
    • Lead HR audits and reporting
    • Lead HR employee records internal audits and improvement

    HR Administration

    • Work with the HR team to ensure quality administration and management of HR data
    • HR reporting and data collection and filing
    • Maintenance of HR SharePoint platform

    Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)

    • Support to ensure OHS compliance
    • IOD registration, follow up and support
    • Benefits query support and resolution

    Hast Counsellor (Care & Treatment) - OR Tambo District

    Purpose of the position:

    • To provide HIV Testing Services to clients accessing public health services as part of IHSS support to the facilities through the district roving mentor teams in reaching their 95-95-95 targets as directed by the CDC work plan and overall NDoH strategy to reach the 95-95-95 targets.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12
    • HTS Certificate including Adherence Counselling and Rapid testing course (RTCQII)
    • Couple counselling
    • Advanced counselling certificate
    • Must have minimum 3-5 years experience
    • TB/HIV care certificate or other Health related field
    • Disclosure and paediatric consent certificate
    • MS Office
    • Able to communicate in English and isiXhosa is an advantage
    • Criminal Clear

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Provide HIV Counselling and Testing Services (HTS) to clients of the Department of Health attending PHCs or CHCs to access any health services offered at these facilities inclusive of and focusing on TB/HIV and MCH services.
    • Recruit clients from all waiting areas as well as from direct referrals from other health professionals.
    • Provide HIV/AIDS Counselling and Testing as well as TB screening services to clients as per the National HCT Guidelines and as stipulated by the National Department of Health.
    • Educate clients re health and specific HIV/TB/PMTCT-related conditions
    • Promote the advantages of knowing your status
    • Explain coping mechanisms and treatment options
    • Provide adherence counselling and assist with identifying treatment support
    • Do TB symptom screening on all clients and refer if positive
    • Link positive clients to ART initiation services
    • Link positive clients to community health services, act as facility liaison with other positive clients tested in the community and referred to the facility
    • Ensure HTS register/tick sheet is up to date
    • Ensure all counselling and testing consent forms are filled in appropriately and are filed in the patient records
    • Ensure patient registration forms are filled in correctly with latest address and contact details
    • Encourage all mothers and pregnant females to test and target their children in testing activities
    • Maintain infection control standards
    • Participate in outreach activities, i.e. campaigns
