    Architect: Platform Pricing

    • Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for a Platform Architect: Pricing to join the Digital & Technology team at CCBA. The role will report to the relevant Digital Solutions, Commercial Technology, or Enterprise Architecture leadership function
    • The Platform Architect: Pricing is responsible for defining, designing, and governing the architecture of CCBA's pricing platforms and related technology ecosystems to support effective commercial pricing management, revenue growth, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The role is accountable for establishing scalable, integrated, and secure pricing solutions that enable consistent pricing execution, reporting, analytics, and controls across the organisation.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Pricing Solution Architecture : Design scalable and integrated pricing solution architectures aligned to business, report ing and cont rol requirements
    • ERP & Systems Integration : Ensure seamless integration between pricing, finance, reporting, and operational systems.
    • Pricing data & Reporting Architecture : Support reliable pricing reporting and analytics through effective data st ructures, integrations and platform design.
    • Governance & Technical Standards : Define and maintain architecture standards,
    • integration principles and technical governance for pricing solutions.
    • Security & Compliance Enablement : Ensure solution design support pricing cont rols, audit requirements and regulatory compliance standards.
    • Platform Optimisation & Scalabili ty : Identify and implement opportunities to improve pricing platform performance, scalability and resilience.
    • People Management: engage, support and develop staff.
    • Commercial Pricing Solution Enablement: Partner with Commercial, Finance and Digitalteams to evaluate pricing requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and designinnovative pricing solutions that improve revenue growth, operational efficiency, control and reporting.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or CA(SA)/CIMA/Hons degree in Finance or related field.

    Experience

    • 8-12 years’ experience in finance & pricing systems.
    • Experience in commercial pricing planning , execution & control.
    • People management experience.

    Production Process Controller

    Job Description    

    • Production Process Monitoring & Control

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    Process Monitoring and Execution

    • Monitor production parameters (speed, fill levels, temperatures, pressures, etc.) and ensure processes run within control limits.
    • Conduct in-process checks and adjust machine settings as required to maintain product quality and production targets.
    • Follow the production plan and ensure timely reporting of process deviations.

    Quality Assurance and Compliance

    • Conduct routine quality checks (e.g. fill volume, torque, packaging integrity) and escalate deviations immediately.
    • Maintain accurate records of all quality and process checks.
    • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, HACCP, and ISO requirements.

    Problem Solving and Escalation

    • Respond to alarms, faults, or abnormal process conditions.
    • Collaborate with the Process Artisan to address technical or mechanical issues.
    • Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

    Operational Documentation

    • Complete all production documentation, including checklists, downtime logs, quality forms, and SAP entries.
    • Ensure material consumption and reconciliation are accurately recorded in real time.
    • Assist the Team Leader in compiling daily shift reports.

    Team Collaboration and Support

    • Work closely with line Operators, Artisans, Forklift Drivers, and Team Leaders to ensure smooth shift operation.
    • Provide input during shift handovers and planning meetings.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving discussions.

    Safety and Housekeeping

    • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
    • Identify and report safety hazards or unsafe conditions.
    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization at the workstation in line with 5S principles.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Education

    • Completed tertiary qualification in a Quality or Science-related discipline Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Production Technology, or related field
    • National Certificate or National Diploma in Food Technology, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field
    • Preferred: Completed tertiary qualification in a Quality or Science-related discipline
    • Certificate in Quality Control, or Process Technology is advantageous

    Experience

    • Minimum 2–3 years experience in FMCG production or bottling operations
    • Quality Control background or experience will have an added advantage
    • Experience in process control, production monitoring, or line operations in a high-speed manufacturing environment
    • Exposure to quality control systems, and real-time production adjustments
    • 1–3 years’ experience in a quality control or laboratory role within FMCG, food, or beverage manufacturing
    • Experience working in a certified food safety environment (FSSC, ISO, or equivalent)Exposure to routine in-process and finished product quality testing

    Skills

    • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows
    • Ability to interpret and adjust process parameters and documentation
    • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and compliance requirements (GMP, HACCP, ISO)Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs precisely.

    Syrup Maker

    Job Description    

    • Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Process Support Department. We are looking for a talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Syrup Maker role, which is based in Lakeside. 

    Functional Capabilities:

    • Accurate mixing and preparation of syrup batches
    • Ingredient and concentrate handling
    • Adherence to Coca-Cola Operating Requirements (KORE) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
    • Operation and monitoring of syrup processing equipment
    • Execution of Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) and sanitation protocols
    • Basic understanding of product quality standards
    • Documentation and traceability of all batch activities
    • Communication and coordination with production and quality teams.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    Key Outcomes:

    Syrup Preparation

    • Prepare syrup batches in line with Coca-Cola product formulas and standard operating procedures.
    • Ensure accurate measurement and mixing of ingredients and concentrates.
    • Validate the quality and conformity of raw materials before use.

    Process Compliance and Quality

    • Conduct in-process quality checks and report any deviations immediately.
    • Ensure compliance with GMP, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
    • Record batch information accurately and completely for traceability.

    Equipment Operation and Cleaning

    • Operate syrup tanks, mixers, pumps, and filtration systems safely and efficiently.
    • Perform CIP and cleaning of equipment as per cleaning schedules and SOPs.
    • Maintain clean and orderly workstations and syrup rooms.

    Stock and Material Handling

    • Receive and verify raw materials and ingredients against batch requirements.
    • Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate shortages to the Team Leader.
    • Label and store all materials correctly to prevent contamination or spoilage.

    Health and Safety

    • Follow all safety protocols, including correct use of PPE, chemical handling procedures, and safe machine operation.
