• We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in software development to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, product development, project managers, and development teams to gather, analyse, and document requirements for our consumer facing products and internal services.
• This is a very independent role and requires the individual to be self-motivated, energetic, and comfortable in a faced-paced environment. The projects are broad, where you will work closely with business stakeholders, product, and technical teams. The ability to create strong working relationships with diverse groups of individuals will be paramount to success in the role.As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Eliciting and Documenting Requirements: Gathering, understanding, and documenting detailed business requirements and user stories.
• Translating Requirements: Converting business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications.
• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to optimize business processes and recommending innovative solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and project managers.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring the quality of deliverables through rigorous testing and validation

Qualifications

• Multi-channel Experience: Experience working in both digital and retail environments, often within complex organizational structures.
• Business Analysis Expertise: Proven ability to apply various business analysis techniques, such as data analysis, process modeling, and requirements gathering.
• Project Management Skills: Experience in managing IT projects, particularly those involving multiple teams and methodologies like Waterfall and Agile.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Business Acumen: Knowledge of product development lifecycles, including marketing, customer insights, and strategy.

The ideal candidate will excel in delivering complex projects involving multiple engineering teams and disciplines within fast-paced, Agile environments. Experience in the gambling or gaming industry is highly desirable, as this role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the sector.

Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with senior leadership, technical teams, and external stakeholders to define and achieve project objectives.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies clearly and effectively.

Agile Delivery Leadership:

• Lead and oversee project delivery in Agile environments, ensuring efficient sprints and ceremonies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within teams and processes.

Risk and Issue Management:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Product Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• Extensive experience in managing technology platforms and enterprise-level data projects, ideally in a complex business environment.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data management practices, and product management
• Proven experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects in fast-paced, Agile environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multiple engineering teams, including software, hardware, and operations disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project), and best practices.
• Experience within the gambling or gaming industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving results.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus).
