    Management Learning Facilitator

    Purpose of the role

    • The Management Learning Facilitator turns Unifi's management standards into real, practical training that grows all managers in the Unifi community — every day, in every country. Reporting to the Learning Facilitation Lead, you co-design Unifi's management training in partnership with the L&D Design Lead, and you facilitate it directly with managers across all levels and countries.

    Responsibilities

    • Co-design management training content with the L&D Design team — bringing your facilitation experience and frontline insight into the design process.
    • Facilitate management training across Unifi — adapting style and examples for each country's context.
    • Identify management capability gaps through regular needs analysis in partnership with the L&D design lead and in country teams aligned with business needs.
    • Stay close to managers in country visiting branches, contact centres, and country offices — observing how training translates into behaviour, and feeding that back into design.
    • Track engagement, completion, and behavioural impact of management training, and use the data to improve content and delivery.
    • Maintain consistently high standards across all management training materials — practical, relevant, easy to apply, and aligned to the Unifi way.
    • Build a learning experience that managers look forward to, — energy, participation, and practicality.
    • Design, own, and continuously improve the management training plan, ensuring it is aligned to business needs and evolving capability needs.
    • Deliver high-impact management training, including workshops and refresher sessions, adapting facilitation methods to suit diverse audiences across countries.
    • Partner with business to ensure learning is adopted in practice, and continuously gather feedback on real impact and behavioural change.
    • Use learning technology and data to track engagement, effectiveness, and behaviour change, and use insights to continuously improve delivery.
    • Provide clear feedback and reporting to stakeholders on progress, impact, and emerging development themes.
    • Maintain high and consistent standards across all management development materials and ensure content remains practical, relevant, and easy to apply.
    • Build a culture where learning is simple, useful, and energising, helping Unifi remain a place to thrive and perform.
    • Make Unifi a fun place to work!

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in learning and development, or a related field.
    • 5+ years' facilitation experience in management development.
    • Familiar with established management frameworks.
    • Proven experience managing and implementing training in a fast-paced, multi-country environment.
    • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, both in-person and virtual.
    • Ability to design clear, practical training that managers can apply on the job.
    • Strong communicator who can simplify complex ideas without losing meaning.
    • Comfortable using data to track training outcomes and report on insights.
    • Organised and able to manage multiple programmes and stakeholders simultaneously.
    • Self-starting, driven, and humble, with a commitment to growing the Unifi bench.
    • Willing and able to travel across Africa.

    • Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls across processes, systems, and entities.
    • Ensure timely, accurate, and practical audit reports with clear findings, root-cause analysis, and actionable recommendations.
    • Track management action plans and provide assurance on remediation effectiveness.
    • Deliver value-adding insights that go beyond compliance to improve efficiency, controls, and decision-making.

    Fraud Risk & Investigations

    • Lead Unifi’s Internal Audit contribution to fraud prevention, detection, and response.
    • Assess the effectiveness of anti-fraud frameworks, controls, and monitoring tools across all countries.
    • Conduct or oversee investigations into suspected internal misconduct, collusion, and external fraud schemes.
    • Work closely with management, Data & Risk, IT, and operations functions on fraud analytics, early-warning indicators, and control enhancements.
    • Report significant fraud matters to senior management and the Finance & Risk Committee.

    Governance, Risk & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Maintain strong working relationships with the Finance & Risk Committee, executive management, and country leadership teams.
    • Present audit plans, key findings, trends, and risk themes to the Finance & Risk Committee and Board.
    • Coordinate effectively with Compliance, External Audit, and Regulators where required.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to management while preserving independence and objectivity.

    Standards, Methodology & Quality Assurance

    • Maintain and continuously improve audit methodologies, tools, and reporting standards.
    • Oversee quality assurance and improvement programmes for Internal Audit.

    Requirements
