    Contracts and Sourcing Lead (Gauteng)

    Description

    • Lead the development and management of contracts by translating complex procurement needs into clear terms and conditions, negotiating favourable agreements, and ensuring cost-effective, high-performing contracts with minimal risk of breach.
    • Ensure 100% on-time contract availability by preparing sourcing plans, negotiating and administering contracts in full compliance with supply chain policies and legal standards, and promptly communicating new or revised contracts.
    • Increase on-contract spend by actively tracking and monitoring contract performance and compliance, managing modifications, generating detailed contract status reports, and identifying value opportunities and risk mitigation actions.
    • Minimise contract-related risks by ensuring contract validity, implementing robust contract management processes, training end users on key terms, addressing supplier performance issues, and maintaining an accurate and up-to-date contracts database.
    • Drive effective stakeholder engagement by anticipating potential contractual issues, responding to enquiries promptly, resolving complex contract-related matters within agreed timelines, and fostering transparent, collaborative communication.
    • Ensure ongoing contract validity and alignment with changing internal and external conditions, while proactively identifying and mitigating contractual risks in compliance with legal and operational standards.     Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent 
    • B Com / B Tech in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing Management or similar
    • 7+ years’ contracts and sourcing experience in explosives, manufacturing or mining industry
    • 3+ years customer service experience 
    • 3+ years supplier management service experience 
    • 5+ years people management experience
    • Post Graduate Diploma in Business management or related (Advantageous qualifications)
    • 3+ yeas SAP and SAP Ariba experience (Advantageous technical or professional experience)

    Artisan Electro Mechanic (Limpopo - Steelpoort)

    Description

    • Maintain and service diesel machinery, vehicles, and equipment by identifying faults, diagnosing root causes, performing necessary repairs or servicing, testing functionality, and completing all related job administration within the required timeframe. 
    • Provide breakdown maintenance and service support by responding to call-outs, identifying and diagnosing faults, implementing effective repairs, conducting functionality tests, and finalising job documentation within deadlines. 
    • Conduct preventative maintenance by adhering to the scheduled maintenance plan, servicing diesel machinery, vehicles, and equipment, performing operational tests, and completing all related documentation within the deadline. 
    • Coordinate the availability of required spare parts by monitoring stock levels, initiating requests for procurement of additional spares, and ensuring accurate completion of stock control and administration. 
    • Assist with technical investigations by inspecting equipment, identifying faults or defects, diagnosing root causes, recommending appropriate technical solutions, and completing investigation reports and administration within the specified timeline. 
    • Monitor the implementation of unit business processes by monitoring compliance, identifying process anomalies, and executing corrective actions as required.   
    • Drive effective utilisation and continuous development of unit systems. 

    Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics and Science 
    • Electro Mechanic Trade Test Certificate 
    • Valid vehicle driver’s license 
    • 5+ years as an Electro Mechanic 
    • 2+ years as artisan electrician working on specialised machinery and equipment

    Description

    Inventory Controller (Gauteng - Rosebank)

    Description

    • Ensure compliance with organisational policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge, participating in training sessions, and proactively sourcing answers to queries on a daily and as-needed basis. 
    • Comply with established processes through accurate implementation, continuous process awareness, and timely resolution of any areas of concern.

    Ops Chargehand (Fixed Term) (Limpopo)

    Description

    • Assist mine personnel on on-the-job training (Technical support on DDS™ equipment & Charging-up).
    • Provide information regarding Health & Safety of Enaex equipment to mine and Enaex employees.
    • Assist mine personnel on on-the-job training (Technical support on DDS™ equipment & Charging-up).
    • Assist Service Technician in maintenance of DDS™ Equipment.
    • Density checks and records.
    • Day to day inspections and minor repairs on DDS™ equipment.
    • Oversee mine trained employee to do daily checklist. Mine employee to hand checklist to his mine supervisor.
    • First responder to breakdowns (All minor issues on shift).
    • Reporting on levels of DDS™ emulsions and delivery dates for emulsion.
    • Offloading of the DDS ™ delivery tanker & weighbridge notes sign.
    • Reporting on spares used and stock level to Service Technician.
    • Report of spillages to mine personnel to arrange for clean-up.
    • Report status of good housekeeping around silos to mine.
    • Daily reporting of findings in underground workings to Section Mine Overseer / Shift boss / Miner with regards to  - charging-up and drilling on the working areas he visited.

    • Follow up on recommendations and implementation of proposals.
    • Identify incorrect charging up practices.
    • Conduct blast surveys according to the designed criteria.
    • Demonstrate the charging up and connecting of all Enaex explosives products.
    • Apply the use of the product as per the product application training.
    • Apply the safe handling, storage and transport of explosives.
    • Ensure correct PPE is used, as well as that PPE is in good condition and correctly worn/used.
    • Maintain housekeeping of work area.
    • Identify workplace hazards and associated risks and deal with it appropriately (Hirac & Risk Assessment).
    • Knowledge of relevant hand tools.

    • Comply with the Mine’s safety and health procedures.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12
    • Underground Blasting Assistant Certificate and Competent B for underground (Advantage)
    • N2 electrical or mechanical (advantage)
    • Basic Computer skills
    • Valid medical fitness certificate for UG Mines

    Experience:

    • 2-3 years working experience in underground (advantage)
