    Cloud Solutions Architect – Google Cloud Platform (Gauteng)

    Description

    • The main function of this position is to act as the senior technical authority for our Google Cloud Security portfolio.
    • This includes designing secure cloud architectures, leading technical pre-sales engagements, and translating customer requirements into robust, scalable security solutions. This role is key to defining the technical strategy for solutions built on or integrating with the Google Cloud security stack (e.g., Google Security Operations/Chronicle, Mandiant, Security Command Center, BeyondCorp Enterprise, etc.).
    • This role will also be responsible for providing technical oversight and mentorship to other technical teams across the business. 

    Requirements
    Qualifications

    • First degree in relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent. - Essential
    • Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer certification. - Essential
    • Industry acknowledged Certifications related to Cyber Security, CISSP, CISM, CCSP. - Essential
    • Google Cloud SecOps sales and technical credentials. - Essential
    • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification. - Desirable     

    Experience

    • 5 -10 years’ experience:
    • As a Cloud Security Architect, Security Consultant, or similar technical role
    • Demonstrable hands-on experience designing and implementing Google Cloud security solutions

    Cloud Solutions Architect - Google Workspace (Gauteng)

    Description

    • A Google Workspace (GWS) Cloud Solutions Architect transforms business objective into tangible Google Workspace configurations, policies, and security practices as they relate to users, content, and integrations. This includes, among others, the GWS solution life cycle – GWS SKU selection, design, management, and monitoring of the solution that meets the customers’ requirements. The incumbent is responsible for defining tasks, scope and effort obtained during customer engagement session and the subsequent production of high level and low-level design documents and other technical project related artefacts. This extends to the delivery of hands-on, business-oriented strategic and technical consulting to our clients for GWS solutions. 

    Requirements
    Qualifications 

    • Degree in IT or Engineering related field and post-Graduate. - Essential
    • Professional Google Workspace Administrator. - Essential
    • Other Industry certifications e.g. Google Associate Cloud Engineer. - Preferred         

    Experience

    5-10 years experience in:

    • Supporting / Managing GWS environments o Demonstrable experience in architecting large-scale cloud migration projectso Demonstrate the ability to solve complex, multi- system problemso Extensive experience in architecting enterprise public cloud solutionso Experience of working in a project team using an identified project management methodologyo In-depth knowledge of various IT and or Telecoms technology architecture domains and convergence.

    Administrator: Network Operations (Midrand)

    Role Purpose

    • Provide a comprehensive support service to the Regional Operations teams and its customers. Ensure that all reporting, health and safety, technical resource dispatching and financial administration is efficiently managed in the region.

    Role Description

    • Support the Regional Field Operations leadership teams with day-to-day administration and co-ordination of documentation, fault dispatching, reporting and quality.Attend to all job recording matters on the Incident Management systems (dispatching, updating and closure).Respond orally and in writing to all correspondence and enquiries.Understand and be able to evaluate and implement the actions required to meet the departments operational goals.Understand the network architecture, products and processes used to successfully manage the Field Operations resource allocations.
    • Ensure all incident (INC) and network (NET) work order tasks are accepted and assigned to a Field Operations resources. Provide and update Field Operations staff with assigned maintenance, faults and installation requests. Coordinate and assign Field Operations resources to new installations and service testing. Compile statics and report for Network Operations. Contributing to Regional and National Risk Management Programme Manage the issuing of material and spares from the regional maintenance stores. Inform and escalate all operational anomalies to Line Management. Coordinate training requirements for the region.Receive and dispatch goods and services.
    • Perform the respective functions and duties of processing Purchase Requests (PR) and “Goods Received Notes” (GRN) activities on SAP.Process budget allocations for CAPEX projects.Process purchase requests for CAPEX and OPEX purchases.Control payment process by verifying Invoices submitted by Contractors against the Purchase Orders ensuring no duplication.Process material requests for all maintenance material requirements.Understand the financial model of the Network Operations team, and be able to report on availability of funds and utilization of AOP budget.Capture and compile financial reports on operational and capital costs incurred by the Network Operations team. (Fleet vehicles, implementation projects, overtime and standby, accommodation and travel, test equipment, and maintenance material).
    • Contribute to maintain a productive and efficient environment. Ensure even workload distribution to the operations team.Interact with Line Management to determine the most efficient resource utilization.Teamwork and support within the Field Operations team.Manage remote office facility supplies (soft services).Escalate any anomalies that could affect the team’s performance.Manage resource allocations to ensure “Mean Time To Repair” and “Mean Time To Install” goals are achieved.Assist the regional management team with resource administration.Assist the regional management team with Health & Safety administration and reporting.
    • Contribute to maintain a healthy and safe environment.Maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents. (Injuries on duty, near misses, emerging risks).Coordinate monthly health and safety regional meetings.Maintain regional health and safety files and reports.Coordinate training, certifications, and medical evaluations

    • Grade 12: Essential
    • Computer Literacy: Essential
    • National Certificate in Business Administration (NQF4): Essential
    • National Diploma in Business Administration (NQF6): Desirable
    • 3 years Operations Administration in an ICT environment: Essential
    • 3 years Telephone and communication skills: Essential
