    Information Technology Executive

    ROLE SUMMARY

    To IT Executive will provide strategic direction, enterprise and solutions architecture, and operational management and governance standards control of Company’s interactive, electronic information exchange technology solutions through the management of the Technology Department and outsourced technology vendors, in ensuring exceptional service delivery to industry stakeholders.

    The ideal candidate will be very knowledgeable in IT and computer systems with a solid technical background. In addition, the candidate must be able to manage and motivate people. The position will be part of the Exco.

    REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

    Essential Requirements

    • Bachelor Degree in ICT/Computer Science/Engineering/Commerce with Information Systems.
    • Post Graduate qualification in management will be advantages.
    • Enterprise Architecture/Systems and Solutions Architecture or related technical qualification or certifications.
    • Software Development certifications / applications will be advantages.

    Essential Experience

    • Minimum of 10 years IT management experience, preferably in health or related industries.
    • Experience in implementing new technology and discontinuing old technology advantageous.
    • Experience as an executive (line) manager level for at least 3 of these years with at least a team of 5 direct reports.
    • Strong evidence of leadership experience and capability.
    • Solid experience in working with large information integration platforms and systems.
    • Solid experience in managing Outsourced IT Vendors and tightly managing SLAs.
    • Excellent communications skills at all levels.
    • Sound interpersonal relations and ability to take the lead within a team.
    • Proven track record of problem-solving and innovation.

    Essential Technical Skills

    • Sound technical and practical knowledge of IT and health services practices/procedures is pre-requisite in particular ability to evaluate and provide design input on all dimensions) of a centralised exchange delivery system (integration technologies and platforms).
    • Solid knowledge and application of Enterprise Architecture concepts and disciplines.
    • Solid exposure to IT Governance methodologies and structures.
    • Solid understanding of data management, processing, design and implementation of complex systems, software applications, hardware platforms, and outsourced.
    • Solid understanding of software technologies that can be used to overcome technological challenges across the business, ability to write, read, analyse and interpret reports, business correspondence and procedures.
    • Knowledge of IT Security procedures and protocols and data management controls.

    Registered Nurse/Clinical Technologist - NRC Kroonstad

    ROLE SUMMARY
    The Registered Nurse/Clinical Technologist (Independent Practice) will render and promote cost effective, safe, quality patient care in accordance with Company Standard
    Operating Procedures and Policies. The incumbent will further be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patientor a group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs, be a role model in the delivery of evidence
    based care and will actively participate in Clinical Governance.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    • To perform dialysis according to prescription in a safe manner and in accordance to NRC’s internal policies and procedures.
    • To provide optimal patient care as per the nursing scope of practice and NRC’s clinical care pathways.
    • Manage and maintain all medical equipment in accordance with NRC’s technical policies and procedures.
    • Ensure that all NRC quality initiative programs are utilised for the patients under your management.
    • Ensure that all patient clinical records are maintained and updated in accordance with the deadlines, policies & procedures and the NRC standards.
    • Ensure that all financial policies and procedures are followed in the unit i.e. confirmation,billing, private patients, stock, waste etc.
    • Responsible for leading the shift and for the supervision of all subcategories on the floor on a daily basis.
    • Demonstrate the National Renal Care Values and Caring the NRC Way.
