    Merchandise Assistant

    Role overview:

    • As a Merchandise Assistant, you will play a vital support role in enhancing the Weylandts customer experience through effective and timely merchandising. Working closely with the Visual Merchandiser, you will ensure merchandise is correctly unpacked, placed, and replenished according to floor plans and brand standards. You will report to the Visual Merchandiser for daily operational tasks and to the Retail Manager for performance appraisals, leave, and general HR-related matters.
    •  This position is based in Kramerville. 

    Key responsibilities:

    • Ensure timely and accurate execution of the merchandising floor plan and installations (this includes hanging pendant lights, drilling & hanging mirrors / artwork, and painting of walls)
    • Maintain ongoing housekeeping and organization of the store floor according to the latest floor plan.
    • Support the Visual Merchandiser in receiving and unpacking stock.
    • Ensure all products are priced correctly and accurately labelled.
    • Action replenishment of both homeware and furniture items.
    • Provide a professional, customer-focused assistance when engaging with customers on the floor.
    • Stay up to date on product knowledge through training provided.
    • Participate in homeware stock takes.
    • Assist with housekeeping, stock control & security of the homeware storage area/ cage.
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
    • Assist store staff in other store-related tasks as requested by the Retail Manager.

    What you bring:

    • Grade 12/Matric
    • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar role or retail support role
    • Strong administrative and organisational skills
    • Available to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
    • Solid understanding of retail operations and merchandising principles

    Sales Administrator

    Role overview:

    • As a Sales Administrator, you’ll ensure all customer purchases and orders are processed efficiently, accurately and professionally. This role places strong emphasis on administrative precision and payment handling, and you will play a key role in supporting our sales team.
    • This position will be based in Fourways.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process customers’ sales and orders accurately and timely. This includes generating invoices, taking delivery details and handling payments.
    • Perform daily cash-up recons and ensure accurate balances.
    • Ensure that all data gathered from customers and sales consultants is accurate (in relation to product codes and delivery addresses etc.)
    • Answer telephone calls professionally and manage queries efficiently.
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
    • Generate reports as required (on Excel) and carry out all related administration, including filing.
    • Assist customers with Homeware product sales.  
    • Support sales team and visual merchandisers with housekeeping duties and showroom assistance when needed.
    • Participate in daily/weekly stock takes as scheduled by the Retail Manager.
    • As the first point of contact with customers, provide friendly, informed assistance to enhance the client experience.
    • Address customer complaints promptly and escalate when necessary.
    • Be willing to take on further responsibilities, if necessary, as directed by the Retail Manager.

     What you bring:

    • Grade 12/Matric
    • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
    • Strong administration skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
    • Prior experience in customer-facing administrative role is essential.
    • Available to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
    • Passionate about décor and Weylandts furniture and homeware products.
    • Comfortable working with different systems and technology, including POS and inventory management systems.

    Senior Interior Designer

    Role overview:

    • We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer, who will be responsible for leading projects from brief to final installation. This includes concept development, material sourcing, detailed technical drawing packs, budgets, client presentations, and on-site execution. They will collaborate closely with the Design Director & Studio Manager, the Creative Director, and broader team to ensure every design is delivered with excellence, clarity, and creativity. This is an opportunity to contribute creatively and technically to a highly collaborative, fast-paced team.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Lead design from client brief through to concept, presentation, technical documentation, and installation.
    • Prepare detailed furniture layouts, lighting and electrical coordination drawings, joinery details, window treatments, and artwork layouts.
    • Spatial planning and production of full technical drawing packs (plans, sections, elevations, and details).
    • Collaborate with suppliers, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Manage multiple projects across varying scale and complexity, always meeting deadlines with precision.
    • Produce compelling 3D visuals and architectural views for client presentations.
    • Navigate and contribute within complex Revit models with confidence and clarity.
    • Support and mentor junior /mid designers, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
    • Ensure continuous improvement by adhering to and evolving studio standards and procedures.

     What you bring: 

    • National Diploma in Interior Design or equivalent.
    • Minimum 5 – 7 years of design work experience, with at least 5 completed projects as a senior designer
    • Working experience in AutoCAD, SketchUp and proficient in REVIT.
    • Strong technical drawing skills and ability to communicate design details clearly.
    • Experience preparing and reviewing lighting, electrical, joinery and furniture layouts.
    • Strong eye for spatial planning, texture, proportion, and materiality.
