    Branch Manager Fourways (Longmeadow)

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

    • The Branch Manager plans and directs the day-to-day operations of the Branch.  Incumbent develops strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, increase profitability, create store policies and marketing programs that will increase sales and grow the existing customer base.
    • You will also ensure customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. In addition ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Proven work experience as a Branch Manager
    • Electrical/ Electronics will be advantageous
    • Experience managing a high-performance sales team
    • An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
    • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
    • (Strong written communication and team management skills) Sound communication skills (written & verbal), coupled with the effective ability to interact with people at all levels
    • Manages, motivates and improves the team in order to achieve the company goals

    • Proven track record in driving operational and commercial turnaround, improving sales, controlling stock, managing warehouse operations, and strengthening team accountability.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A post graduate Degree or its equivalent in Electrical or Electronics, Sales, Marketing, or closely related discipline from a recognized Tertiary Institution
    • Essential: 7 – 10 years’ experience in Sales within a manufacturing environment – Electrical will be advantageous.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in a Senior Sales managerial capacity.

    Internal Recruiter (Longmeadow)

    Job Description: ·

    • ACDC Dynamics a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry is looking for an experienced and dynamic Internal Recruiter.

    Purpose:

    • Identifying current and future hiring needs, and advertising job openings online. Experience is needed in sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating candidates.

    Duties:

    • Collaborate with hiring managers to write job advertisements for current openings
    • Determine qualification criteria for each position
    • Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks (e.g., LinkedIn)
    • Source candidates through online channels (e.g., professional networks and portfolio sites)
    • Screen resumes and applications and update candidates on hiring processes
    • Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews
    • Report to hiring managers and HR managers on the status of open positions and candidates for them to interview
    • Update job descriptions (e.g., add tasks or modify requirements)
    • Answer candidates’ queries regarding the application process
    • Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate
    • Participate in job fairs to boost company’s reputation
    • Help new hires onboard

    Requirements

    Credit Controller (Longmeadow)

    Purpose of the Role

    • We are looking to hire an experienced credit controller to expertly manage the debts of our company. As a credit controller, you will be responsible for collecting debts from our company debtors, evaluating new credit requests, ensuring timely payments of company debts,  managing all queries, and providing administrative support.
    • To ensure success as a credit controller, you should have a good eye for detail and the ability to reconcile complex company accounts. Ultimately, a top-class credit controller can maximize company profits by efficiently managing its debts.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Collecting Debt (High volumes)
    • Reconciliations to customer remittances (high transaction volume accounts)
    • Calculation and allocation of settlement discounts
    • Query resolving with other ACDC departments such as Sales, Repairs and Returns
    • Attending to daily customer queries via email and telephone
    • Compiling Bad debt handover packs when needed
    • Updating various finance related shared Microsoft schedules
    • Meeting weekly and monthly reporting deadlines

    Requirements

    • This position should be someone that is a self-starter, dedicated to her/his work, with great attention to detail
    • Minimum 5 years full credit control experience
    • Prepared to work on Saturdays as and when needed
    • Strong organisational and time management skills
    • Matric + tertiary qualification preferred
