Context:

• To lead Business Technology in the Business Unit/Functional Area with the purpose of supporting and enabling the realisation of business strategies and objectives

Purpose:

• To develop and codify application and software solutions that are bespoke, innovative and sustainable

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in web front-end design and development using JS, HTML, CSS, CSS preprocessing, modern frameworks (Ideally Angular with typescript).
• Ability to translate user requirements into functional user interface using manual diagrams or wireframing tools
• Solid understanding of responsive web design
• Experienced with back-end Java programming, particularly JEE stack and related design patterns.
• Knowledge and practical working experience with dev tools like git, maven, gradle, webpack, etc.
• Proficient in relational database design, SQL, ORMs such as Hibernate, libraries such as Jdbi and jOOQ, etc.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, Quarkus or any similar framework will be advantageous
• Knowledge of microservices design patterns, containerization and cloud computing will be an advantage
• Experience in delivering as part of an agile team
• Investment banking experience also an advantage

Minimum Qualifications and experience:
