    Graduate Quantitative Analyst - Johannesburg

    Purpose

    • To retrieve and manipulate data in order to enable model building and quantitative solutions. To conduct analysis and reports within a specified framework, process and procedure, under guidance.

    Experience and Qualifications

    • Minimum Qualification - B Degree Maths, Stats, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Physics or Actuarial Science
    • Preferred Qualification - Honours Degree
    • Experience - 0 to 1 Year

    Responsibilities

    • Act responsibly with work related resources in order to contribute to cost containment
    • Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and/or across the FRG

    Regulatory Risk Analyst - Johannesburg

    Purpose

    • To ensure compliance is maintained within the bank with specific focus on regulatory compliance reporting and support the Monitoring Specialist in achieving the team purpose of providing assurance that segments comply with regulatory requirements.

    Experience and Qualifications

    • BComm Degree or Diploma.
    • Compliance Institute of SA Compliance Practitioner qualification.
    • 1 to 3 years risk experience.
    • An understanding of the banking industry.
    • 1 to 3 years compliance experience.
    • Should have a good understanding of South African Legislation.

    Responsibilities

    • Adhere to financial and cost management requirements by reviewing the budget and identify any cost saving initiatives in area of work and report.
    • Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
    • Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with relevant peers and stakeholders in order to achieve productivity synergies.
    • Create reports summarising major findings, issues and outstanding remediation items, identify risks and controls.
    • Performing audit testing and completing documentation of planning, testing and findings made in line with the Compliance methodology.
    • Ongoing monitoring of business compliance to the control frameworks, reporting and escalation of incidents of non-compliance including follow up on implementation of agreed corrective measures.
    • Provide support to stakeholders in relation to the execution of the relevant legislation, frameworks, processes and tools. Provide input to business on compliance related matters to assist in informed decision making.
    • Provides an advisory service and consults with business in order to recommend controls and processes to ensure legislative compliance.

    Segment Head Monitoring B - Johannesburg

    Purpose

    • To design, build, manage and execute on the Monitoring and Assessment programmerthat follows a risk-based approach across the Segment through the process of defined standards and operating procedures; to Operationalize monitoring and reporting there on .

    Experience and Qualifications

    • Minimum qualification: Bcomm (Law),Bcomm degree, LLB degree or engineering degree. Diploma incompliance management will be advantageous.
    • Minimum years of experience: 7 to 10 years’ experience in regulatory risk management .

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor and enforce effective control, governance and compliance procedures n to prevent and reduce financial wastage
    • Build and maintain relationships with clients, internal and external stake holders that promote cross delivery process and practice solutions
    • Anticipate and meet the needs andcommit to continuous development and entrenchment of a service culture
    • Develop tactical strategy and delivery plans in support of functional strategic objectives in partnership with leadership

    • Manage/direct/contribute asappropriate to strategic regulator engagement within area of responsibility
    • Undertake analysis of management andspecialist information across the organization and develop high level reportsfor strategic decision
    • Ensure the development and implementation of integrated corporate governance, compliance, integrity andethics frameworks
    • Define, develop and maintainpolicies, procedures, standards and frameworks to efficiently manage business and provide thought leadership
