    Customer Services Co-ordinator

    Job Description    

    • Respond to stock requests received from Crop Advisors/Depots.
    • Execute efficient and accurate ordering and expediting orders 
    • Expedite stock requests and communication of requests with Crop Advisors and depot personnel.
    • Perform Buying task: Placing of POs, Sending of Orders to suppliers, follow up on orders, provide feedback on orders.
    • Monitor excess stock levels at Crop Advisor warehouses.
    • Follow up on GRN’s from Crop Advisors with direct deliveries and stock transfers (GIT’s).
    • Participate in stock takes
    • Prioritise tasks and manage time correctly in order to complete daily tasks timeously.
    • Perform a relief support function for other members of the department
    • Filing and scanning of paperwork
    • Manage stock returns from depots (Drawbacks)
    • Adhere to all internal control policies of the Company
    • Uphold and work according to all internal and external safety guidelines
    • Required to conform to relevant SHEQ rules and regulations as per company policy.
    • Undertake any legal ad hoc tasks for which the incumbent is competent as directed by the Warehouse Team Leader or Management.
    • Investigate customer complaints so as to ensure customer centricity and advise process to be followed.
    • Report customer complaints to the relevant Management staff member and relevant actions taken.
    • Report outcome of investigation and resolution of problem to the relevant Management staff member.
    • Ensure continued communication throughout the process with the customer up to resolution of the problem, keeping the Warehouse Team Leader updated.
    • Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained in areas responsibility.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Minimum education Grade 12 with a diploma in Logistics, Procurement, Operations and/or Supply Chain.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ hands on experience in logistics, distribution, Production or warehousing environment within the agricultural chemical industry.
    • Must have proven track record for excellent customer service.
    • Possess general knowledge of the agricultural chemical industry and a knowledge of the products that are supplied within the agricultural chemical industry and their uses.
    • Strong admin functionality.
    • Computer knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word) and MS Outlook. 
    • Must possess a working knowledge of Syspro.
    • Knowledge of SAP advantageous.
    • Knowledge of .NET would be advantageous.
    • Must be knowledgeable of all Acts, i.e. hazardous chemicals, road transportation, etc.

    Electrician- Lilianton

    Job Description    

    General & Installations:

    • Carry out installations of new power supplies and AC 3-phase motors.
    • To report faulty appliances or damaged equipment and carry out work as per the required job card.
    • Ensure adherence to quality standards, rules and regulations.
    • Issue of Certificates of Compliance (COC) for electrical installations.
    • Ability to diagnose problems on instruments.

    Maintenance:

    Materials Handler

    Job Description    

    • Pick and prepare stock for loading onto trucks in accordance with picking slips.
    • Communicate with Warehouse Coordinator or Despatch Controller timeously should a product not be in the warehouse as stated on the picking slip.
    • Ensure FIFO system w.r.t. expired products is applied.
    • Expired products to be moved to allocated area for expired products.
    • Notify Warehouse Coordinator w.r.t. expired product moved to the allocated area.
    • Load and offload vehicles in accordance with documentation.
    • Ensure no broken or damaged products enter or leave the warehouse unless approved by the Warehouse Coordinator.
    • Report faulty, broken or damaged products, leaking drums to Warehouse Coordinator.
    • Ensure products (drums) are neat and clean before consolidated for despatch.
    • Damaged product in the warehouse or on a vehicle is to be repacked immediately
    • Ensure product is correct marked or labelled once it has been repacked.
    • Communicate all discrepancies noted w.r.t. stock shortages to the Despatch Controller/Warehouse Coordinator.
    • Required to drive a forklift and Reach Truck
    • Complete forklift and Reach Truck checklist daily
    • Keep forklift and Reach Truck battery charges in good working condition
    • Report any defects on the Forklift and Reach Truck to Warehouse Coordinator
    • Ensure accurate final checks of product picked and prepared for delivery
    • Ensure good housekeeping standards and cleanliness are maintained in the warehouse
    • Palletisation of stock, barcoding of small packs, packing of boxes onto pallets and shrink-wrapping.

    • Minimum 1 years’ relevant experience in logistics, distribution, production or warehousing as a Materials Handler.
    • Must be able to drive both a Forklift and Reach Truck, be medically fit to drive a Forklift and Reach Truck and be in possession of a valid Forklift as well as Reach Truck driver’s license.
    • Must maintain medical fitness to drive both a forklift and Reach Truck in order to have the relevant driver’s license renewed successfully.
    • Possess excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.

    Laboratory Analyst

    Job Description    

    • To perform analysis of raw, intermediate and finished products and take corrective action to produce products within specifications.
    • Perform calibration duties and improve on analytical and lab procedures to improve accuracy and productivity.
