    GSE Gardens & Grounds Supervisor – Cayley Lodge & Mountain Resort

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company’s required standards across the resort gardens, grounds, stores and chalets, while also supporting general maintenance and housekeeping functions when required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise garden staff and allocate appropriate daily duties.
    • Oversee the general upkeep of the resort’s gardens and grounds.
    • Previous experience in gardening, groundskeeping or general resort maintenance.
    • Previous supervisory or team-leading experience would be advantageous.
    • Practical knowledge of gardening tools and equipment.
    • Able to perform physically demanding and outdoor work.
    • Good communication and basic problem-solving skills.
    • Responsible, reliable and able to allocate work effectively.
    • Willing to assist other departments when operationally required.
    • Strong awareness of cleanliness, safety and appropriate use of equipment.

    Learning Content Designer (12 Months Contract)

    • Create engaging visual learning resources that support organisational learning initiatives. Working from approved instructional design briefs supplied by Learning Practitioners, SMEs and Course Builders, the Learning Content Creator develops graphics, illustrations, infographics, videos, animations, learner materials and other visual learning assets. The role is responsible for ensuring all visual content aligns with Beekman Group branding standards, supports learner engagement and enhances the overall learning experience. The Learning Content Creator maintains digital asset libraries, applies quality assurance processes and collaborates closely with the Learning & Development team to produce high-quality learning resources. The primary focus is the creation and maintenance of learning visuals and/or other multimedia assets.

    The ideal applicant will have:

    • Matric
    • Graphic Design degree / diploma or 3 to 4 years related experience
    • Ability to work under pressure & be able to adapt to shifting needs & priorities  
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Creative thinking & artistic ability
    • A good command of English language
    • Experience/proficiency in software: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, Genially, PowToons, Microsoft office suite of products.

    Learning Content Creator (12 Months Contract)

    Key Performance Areas:
    The individual occupying this position will:
    Curate Online Learning Content

    • Create, update and maintain online training content and resources, ensuring alignment with company Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Design and develop interactive, engaging, and thought-provoking online learning experiences that encourage active participation and reflection.
    • Create innovative digital course frameworks, outlines, and digital learning modules tailored for deployment across the Group’s Learning Management System (LMS).
    • Conduct ongoing testing and quality reviews of online courses to ensure usability, interactivity, and learning impact.

    Curate Virtual learning Content:

    • Design and develop content to support occational live virtual sessions or face-to-face facilitation, complementing self-paced content with guided experiences.

    Content Relevance & Learner Experience:

    • Ensure all content is accessible, and aligned with learner needs, while maintaining accuracy and relevance to company standards.
    • Collaborate closely with heads of departments to weave operational procedures into creative, scenario-based learning journeys.
    • Build in opportunities for collaboration, and problem-solving to enhance learner engagement and retention.
    • Provide regular updates to management on project milestones, learner engagement, and outcomes.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric, with at least 2 years’ experience in digital learning, instructional design, e-learning content creation, or LMS content development.
    • Strong experience in developing online training materials, including SCORM-compliant modules, presentations, videos, or other digital learning resources.
    • Knowledge of LMS platforms and e-learning authoring tools will be a strong advantage.
    • Hospitality industry experience will be a strong advantage.
    • Ability to convert technical SOPs into clear, engaging, learner-friendly content.
    • Some facilitation or training exposure beneficial but not a primary requirement.

    Key Competencies and Personal Attributes:

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to simplify complex information.
    • Highly computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
    • Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to collaborate across departments.
    • Strong organisational and time management skills.
