    Business Development Manager - Cape Town

    About the role

    • As a Business Development Manager, you'll have an in-depth understanding of SMB and SME clients, establish strong connections, and confidently demonstrate the features and benefits of our B2B offering.
    • This role is a good match for you if you have sales experience in a fast-paced company and are keen to be part of a team responsible for amplifying Bolt Business's success and supporting our ambitious growth and expansion plans.

    Main tasks and responsibilities:

    • Managing the sales funnel, including processing leads, prospecting, cold calling, closing deals, and building up a well-balanced pipeline while ensuring qualitative top-of-funnel inputs and high conversion rates to meet the output goals.
    • Setting up thought-through outreach strategies to establish strong customer relationships with medium businesses and ensuring the successful completion of newly acquired deals.

    Regional Sales Manager

    • Managing your sales organization, you’ll be leading country managers across your region - owning sales performance, coaching, developing, and driving them to meet each country’s goals. You'll recruit and build your organization, with help from our recruitment team and your country managers.
    • Achieve growth and smash regional sales targets, you’ll drive your teams to success - hitting and beating targets and bringing success for all your markets and your region.

    What we expect
    About you:

    • 8+ years experience in fast-paced B2B Sales, with at least 4+ years managing sales teams ideally across several locations/markets and ideally a BS/MS degree in Business Administration or a related field.
    • You are a leader, who can motivate a large regional team, and manage different cultures and needs of your reports. You are experienced in rapidly recruiting and scaling a sales organization in multiple locations. Scale-up/start-up experience would be highly advantageous.
    • Experience in outbound selling of a service or SaaS product into the SME / large business market. You have proven capability to lead and deliver fast and significant multi-million growth, through sales teams. Be a master of sales strategy, able to identify opportunities, guide country teams, and lead your markets to success.
    • Familiar with leading CRMs and highly analytical of sales stats and KPIs, with strong knowledge of how to steer a team to meet tough targets
