    Qualification

    Biomass Project Engineer

    Requirements :

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
    • Strong knowledge of biomass power plant technologies, including combustion, gasification,
    • and / or anaerobic digestion.
    • Profile with experience in conventional thermal power plants will be considered.
    • 3 to 5 years of prior experience in the biomass power sector.
    • Willing to travel to travel internationally
    • Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Experience in the design and development of renewable energy projects is preferred.
    • Strong understanding of local regulations and industry standards.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Strong project management skills.
    • Languages - Excellent level in English. Fluency in French would be a plus.

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a highly motivated biomass project engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of biomass power generation projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Technical support in identifying and assessing prefeasibility of biomass power plants opportunities,
    • Concept and feasibility stage analysis for biomass power plants including but not limited to writing engineering specifications, drawing preliminary layouts and process flow diagrams, etc.
    • Define and calculate all the technical input for the business plan, including production curve and balance sheet of the power plant in order to identify clearly the limitation of the power plant (biomass analysis, power injection, combustion diagram, etc.),
    • Appoint and engage with engineering consultants,
    • Support in the submission of competitive bids for biomass power projects,
    • Be part of the EPCs process, including taking part to the launching the process, offer evaluation, negotiation session and contract drafting with the relevant consultants and CLIENT team (project management, legal, contract management),
    • Supervising an Owner Engineer and assessing the design of biomass power plants in order to find the optimal technical and economical solution,
    • Evaluate the technical risk on the project and identify the sensitivity curve,
    • CAPEX / OPEX analysis,
    • Building an O&M strategy for biomass power plant operation (including commissioning ramp up, organogram, recruitment strategy, training programme, etc.)
    • Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues as needed.

    Data Migration - Bookkeeping Experience

    Requirements :

    • Training or consulting experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience
