Main Responsibilities

Operational Strategy

• Develop, implement and maintain a project management structure & strategy, standards and procedures to execute on the implementations of allocated projects
• Strategy and standards to be aligned with the G4S technology strategy
• Create and maintain a project management and service delivery strategy with short, medium- and long-term objectives – measure and report on these project plans and objectives on an ongoing basis
• Ensure and assist with technical support for all commissioning and support teams
• Demonstrate G4S’ capabilities to deliver integrated security solutions
• Identifying new business opportunities which lead to the development of solutions
• Design, cost and present additional technology solutions and manage the successful project implementation
• Oversight of all allocated project implementations and ensuring the success thereof

Service Excellence

• Establish trusted long-term relationships with customers
• Facilitate the delivery of service as per the project plan and SLA requirements
• Create strong and trusted relationships with all G4S stakeholders
• Significantly influence customer satisfaction with G4S through knowledge of the industry ability to articulate solutions, value and service delivery
• Continually review and improve gross margin profitability and operational capability within the projects
• Ensure secure, safe, efficient and customer- oriented handling of technology solutions in support of customer service
• Adherence to local, national and international legislation and procedures

Financial

• Manage relationship between actual results, budgets and forecasts
• Gross Margin Management and Contract profitability
• Ensure no contractual penalties are incurred to negatively impact on project viability

People

• Ensure an effective project organisation is designed, maintained and developed
• Attend leadership training for Management and Supervision
• Manage relationships with G4S technicians and subcontracted resources
• Adequate channels of communication with related support staff are in place
• Compliance is maintained with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA) regulations
• Leave planning is carried out to ensure project deliverables are met

Operational Excellence

• Implementation & Ownership of allocated projects and other Integrated Solutions across all areas of the business
• Providing detailed and timeous reporting on Operations to Customers and to the national project manager Coordinate customer service operations and find ways to ensure customer retention
• Ensure compliance with local and international laws (e.g. data protection)
• Manage contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners and other stakeholders
• Ensure Contract Profitability through Technology innovation
• Results of Project Implementations and other reviews are monitored
• Quality Management / Ops Process Management – adherence to quality standards
• Minuted monthly operational performance review sessions with all project stakeholders
• Monthly reviews with key suppliers and subcontractors
• Submit to vetting procedures on an ongoing basis

Technology Innovation

• Innovation and Advancement of Integrated Solutions required for projects
• Sourcing and Testing new Technologies
• Integration of new Technologies into G4S technology solutions
• Designing bespoke solutions for Customers

Learning & Growth

• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks & participating in professional project management organisations
• Network and actively participate in User Groups & Associations and Trade Shows
• Completion of all online training modules such as but not limited to Integrated Solution Generalist, Risk Assessment Modules, G4S Ways of Selling etc
• Ensure product certification is maintained by technicians & subcontractors

Health and Safety

• Participate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the departmental safety plans for each year
• Participate in safety forums created by the company for example safety meetings and safety talks
• Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
• Discuss all safety incidents
• Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/management
• Attend safety education and refresher programs

Qualification and Experience

• Grade 12
• Driver's Licence & Own reliable vehicle
• Role requires flexible and extended hours (including travelling may be required)
• Project Management Diploma or relevant tertiary qualification, ideally within the project management & Technology space
• Minimum 3 years’ experience implementing and project managing Integrated Solutions
• Minimum 3 years people management experience
• Extensive understanding of electronic security products, system integration and implementation

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including back-end developers, UI/UX designers, business analysts, and QAto build high-quality, scalable web applications.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient front-end code using Angular (v13+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Implement reusable UI components using libraries such as PrimeNG, Angular Telerik, Angular Material, and Bootstrap.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Consume RESTful APIs and work closely with backend developers (C#/.NET) to ensure seamless integration.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and accessibility.
• Review code, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate using GitHub for source control, versioning, and code reviews.
• Work with SQL Server to query, manipulate, and troubleshoot data as needed.
• Contribute to technical documentation and maintain architectural standards.

Qualification and Experience

• Grade 12
• A Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Angular, Web Development, or Microsoft technologies are a plus.
• 3–7 years of experience as a Front-End or Angular Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Angular v13 and above, including RxJS, routing, and state management.
• Proficient in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (including SCSS/SASS).
• Hands-on experience with PrimeNG, Telerik for Angular, Angular Material, and Bootstrap.
• Solid understanding of component-based architecture, modular design, and responsive UI development.
• Experience integrating with .NET APIs and working in a full-stack or team-based environment
• Strong understanding of Git workflows and GitHub (pull requests, code reviews, branching strategies).
• Familiarity with SQL Server and writing basic to intermediate queries and stored procedures.
• Exposure to agile methodologies and SCRUM practices.

Main Responsibilities

Administration costing and finance aspects of projects

• Consolidation of monthly invoices received
• Follow-up with 3rd parties and vendors
• Taking delivery of orders
• Reconciliation of costs of project, petty cash, Technology Supplier Payments
• Keep track of billable hours
• Assist AR & AP with client & supplier order/invoicing queries
• Meet with suppliers for account & invoice queries
• Check regional stock sheet allocations
• Monitor month end invoicing to meet forecast

Effective Stock Administration

• Maintenance of stock levels – transport, ordering, purchasing
• Manage procurement process from placing orders, to generating POs
• Distribution of stock as required and ordered
• Maintenance of stock database

Procurement

• Sourcing, negotiation, contract management and supplier relationship management.
• Sourcing of quotes from a minimum of three(3) suppliers. Starting the internal procurement process with all the required documents. Completing follow ups with relevant departments.
• Liaising with suppliers, confirmation of ETA delivery, physical delivery verification, GRN, payment processing to Head Office.
• Assist with maintenance of equipment and disposal, transfer of equipment between regions

Asset Management

• Compiling an inventory of the region.
• Completing disposals of assets, regional transfers, cancellations of equipment rentals, site terminations
• Asset life cycle and ancillary cost management

Assist with staff deployment and project requirements

• Logistics around flights and accommodation as needed for projects
• Import and customs clearing for project stock
• Process travel on Travelit for approval
• Process Uniform, Stationary & Grocery requests from Regions & AMR Business Unit
• Compile and maintain project plan
• Liaise with management over bottlenecks and requirements
• Review project profitability
• Assist with Project spill over in all regions

Effective Project Administration

• Compile and maintain project plan

Effective E-Works Administration

• Load jobs and communicate with technicians and managers
• General Manager and Sales Person action
• Load purchase orders
• Send invoices for GRV
• Prepare SOQ for invoicing to clients
• Check Unassigned Jobs, Action required Jobs, Referred by Finance jobs on Eworks
• Process completed Job Cards for Request For Order & No Charge Quotes
• Load client & suppliers

Ad Hoc

• Process EFT payments to suppliers
• Assist with out of country shipping for projects
• Arrange and conclude shipping inspections for customs
• Process vendor applications for Clients & suppliers

Qualification and Experience

• Grade 12 / Matric Equivalent
• A relevant Tertiary qualification
• Minimum of 2 years Projects experience in a similar role
