    HR Business Partner Mr Price Money

    Job Description

    • The purpose of this role is to drive employee engagement in Operations by partnering with business leaders to define and implement relevant and appropriate people plans. The key focus of this role will amongst others include but not be limited to organisation effectiveness, talent management, building capabilities and facilitating the delivery of Mrpmoney’s strategic HR priorities through a defined and appropriate strategy.  

    Responsibilities

    Recruitment, Selection & Induction

    • Assists recruitment facilitator with end to end recruitment process to ensure the best possible talent is hired within an acceptable time frame. Ensure all new entrants are properly inducted in line with the operations induction program to ensure all new associates are aware of company policies, procedures and ways of doing. 

    Employee Relations:

    • Advises and guides line managers and associates on consistent application of the disciplinary and grievance processes. Facilitates disciplinary hearings, grievances, and appeal hearings. Represents mrpmoney at the CCMA on ER dispute resolution.

    Performance Management

    • Facilitates performance improvement plans for under performers as identified by line management. 

    Training and Development

    • Work collaboratively with L&D to bring to life a talent agenda that supports business success

    Reports

    • Trend Analysis - analyzing data and identifying people related trends.
    • Contribute to the monthly Board pack report and present it at monthly meetings

    Employee Wellness

    • Co-ordinates with stakeholders the employee wellness initiative and drive the wellness programs for a success in the contact center and stores.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology.
    • 3 - 5 Years in a similar role.

    Service Desk Technician Mr Price Group

    Job Description

    • Are you an excellent communicator with great telephone and email etiquette? Do you have an affinity for troubleshooting computer and peripheral device problems? Do you have basic networking skills? 
    • Then our position within our Service desk is a great first step into the IT field for you. 

    Responsibilities

    • Providing telephonic and email 1st line support and troubleshooting to all computer users at all Stores, within the Mr Price Group 
    • Liaise with external service providers to escalate problems where required 
    • Support our suppliers who use our software. 
    • You will be required to work a maximum of 40 hours, over a maximum of 5 days per week including Saturdays and Sundays. 
    • You would be required to work an 8-hour shift in line with the Service Desk operating hours. 
    • Your own reliable transport is preferred. 

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 
    • IT diploma/ Certificate 
    • At least 1 year in an IT or Helpdesk environment 
    • The technical skills required are just a good general knowledge of computer hardware and software. Knowledge of our POS system would be a major advantage

    Job Description

    • Support and assist the store manager in managing the daily operations of a mr price money cellular store to ensure that the overall objectives, store targets and customer service standards are met and exceeded.                                                                                                                                                                                                            

    Responsibilities

    Stock Management:

    • Ensure that stock is accurately received & unpacked to merchandise and replenish the sales floor.
    • Monitor and manage stock levels through defined processes (stock counts, stock takes, stock loss action plans etc.) to mitigate risks (stock loss) and ensure adequate stock on hand.

    Customer Experience Management:

    • Ensure and maintain the implementation of customer experience processes (through the execution of business instruction letters, markdowns, repricing, promotions, customer experience plans, visual standards, customer feedback, general housekeeping etc.) to meet customer service standards.                               

    Leadership & Development:

    • Lead and drive the team within a store to achieve store KPIs and operational strategy in line with company values.
