Job Description
- An exciting new position has become available in Legit, a division of Pepkor Speciality for Regional Operations Manager who will be based in Northern Cape. The successful candidate should be based in Kimberley or any of the Northern Cape towns such Kuruman or Kathu.
- The Regional Operations Manager is responsible to ensure the effective, efficient and consistent implementation of the company's operational strategy in order to maximize the results in the stores and region in terms of - sales, shrinkage, costs, people and profit.
Qualifications
- Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
- A retail/business/marketing management diploma would be a definite advantage.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Previous 5 years’ experience as a Store manager within a retail store, is essential.
- It is essential that you have managed your current store for a period of three years as a Store Manager or a cluster of stores within an area.
- A thorough and working knowledge of the day to day running of a store and experience with managing sales, shrinkage, cost management and people.
- Effective communication skills in English and a second language appropriate to the region.
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding leadership skills and experience with leading and motivating teams
- Must have a strong sense of integrity, and is honest and ethical in everything they do.
