    Store Supervisor

    • Unitrans is seeking a hands-on and organised Store Supervisor to manage and coordinate key activities within our stores department. This role is ideal for a detail-focused individual with leadership capabilities, ready to ensure smooth stock control, accurate documentation, and efficient workflow within the store environment.
    • As a Store Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing inventory movement, supervising clerical processes, and managing the day-to-day activities of store personnel, including tyre fitters and maintenance staff.
    • Your role will be critical in maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely stock replenishment, and upholding high operational standards.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum qualification: Diploma / NQF level 6

    • Coordinating workshop management and ops staff on fleet available for inspection.
    • Liaising with other departments and customers
    • Organise the weekly tyre scrapping meeting and documents
    • Coordinate with service provider to remove scrap tyres off the site.

    • An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre SHERQ Coordinator, to oversee and liaise with clients on SHEQ and align system with their requirements and protocols and must have experience in developing, implementing and maintaining an integrated SHEQ management system.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Conduct monthly safety inspections
    • Conduct risk assessments as and when required
    • Assist Contract Manager in audit preparation
    • Update SHEQ Notice boards on a monthly basis, or when required
    • Collect and assemble SHEQ statistics for monthly reporting/presentation purposes
    • Monthly operations audits to monitor compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Updating of information onto the Entropy System which would include capturing of reports for all incidents, accidents, inspections and audits etc.

    • Coordinate with selected 3rd party provider, items listed for sale that are obsolete in line with reorder categorization.
    • Ensure part number and vehicle are correctly updated and loaded for sale
    • Assist with cataloguing and working with Depots and Category manager for correct identification.

    Sale of Selected Stock

    • Drive sales of Obsolete stock in accordance with category manager, depot manager and distribution manager and set sales targets.
