• Our client is currently in the process of recruiting a ProjectManager - HR, 12 Month project based in Cape Town to manage projects to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality

Responsibilities:

• Project initiation – Project charter

Project planning – Project management plan including:
Project schedule

•  Project budget
•  Project quality plan
•  Risk management plan

Monitoring and controlling of project execution:

•  Project progress minutes including issue log, decision log and risk log
•  Project status reports
•  Project steering committee presentation
• Project close – close out presentation, reports and handover

Qualifications

- Computer Science or Information Systems Degree/ Diploma.

- Qualification in Project Management – PMP or Prince

Experience

• 5-8 years Project Management in the relevant area

Knowledge and Skills Knowledge:

• Strong experience in Projects and Project deliverables
• Has detailed practical knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques with in-depth knowledge of at least one methodology IT uses PMBoK/Agile/ASAP)
• Good knowledge of the Retail business environment

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines/milestones
• Strong negotiation skills
• Experience in using project tools
• Ability to manage business expectations.
• Ability to coach and mentor teammates

About the job

Our client is currently in the process of recruiting 4X DataEngineer's (Junior, Intermediate, and Senior) for a 4 Month's project to deliver business processes, communication, collaboration, and knowledge management through the deployment, support, and maintenance of enterprise IT/OT technology, infrastructure, applications, and Mine Technical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop ETL pipelines. The data transformations will be developed in Azure Databricks using Python and on Azure SQL using T-SQL and deployed using ARM templates

• Combine and curate data in a central data lake

• Serve data for application and analytics through a variety of technologies such as SQL, Server Synapse, CosmosDB and TSI

• Build transformation pipelines into dimensions and facts and therefore a strong knowledge of standard BI concepts is mandatory

• Build stream pipelines leverage IoT Hub, Event Hub, Databricks streaming, and other Azure stream technologies.

• Work in a fluid environment with changing requirements whilst maintaining absolute attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Matric - Grade 12

• An undergraduate qualification (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM discipline and/or Technical competencies and certification with relevant years of experience in a similar role.
