    Argility Technology Group (ATG) is looking for an Implementation Consultant - Google to facilitate the successful implementation of Google Workspace for clients.  You will be instrumental in driving the successful adoption and utilisation of Google Workspace among our clients, ultimately empowering them to achieve their business objectives through enhanced collaboration and productivity.

    Responsibilities include 

    • Planning, executing, and managing the migration and implementation of Google Workspace tools and services. This role requires a deep understanding of Google Workspace, strong project management skills, and the ability to provide excellent support and training to end users.
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive change management plan to guide the client through the transition to Google Workspace.
    • Driving the successful implementation of Google Workspace projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.

    Requirements

    Your skills and experience include

    • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and/or A Cloud Digital Leader Certificate is required.
    • 3-5 years of experience as a Google Workspace Implementation Consultant or similar role.  
    • Any other relevant Google certifications are advantageous. 
    • Proven experience in training delivery, project management and stakeholder management preferably in a technology-related role.

    Knowledge

    • In-depth knowledge of Google Workspace tools and services.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong knowledge of Google Workspace applications and their practical applications in a professional environment.
    • Solid understanding of change management principles and methodologies.

    Senior Data Engineer

    Description

    Argility and our Data & Tech cluster of companies is looking to bring someone on board as a Senior Data Engineer.

    Our vision for our Senior Data Engineer is to work within our data science team, where they would design, develop, and maintain our GCP-based data infrastructure. They would work closely with our Data Scientists and Analysts to build some of our more custom solutions.

    They would build solutions that sit in the space of our cloud-based solutions that are AI-powered, machine learning predictive tech that keeps our clients ahead of customer behaviour, to centralized, data-visualized, single dashboards, that are custom-built solutions automating and centralizing all elements of the management process. We also predict what our customers need, what they buy, and how much of it they buy. Our solutions have revolutionized all forecasting abilities from pricing, inventory, customer behaviour, and sales analytics.

    Responsibilities:

    Data Engineering

    Gather and cleanse data from a variety of sources, including structured and unstructured data
    Design, develop, and maintain GCP-based data infrastructure, including data pipelines and ETL processes using Google BigQuery and DBT
    Implement data transformations, aggregations, and data cleansing to support analytics and reporting

    Data Modeling

    Utilize DBT (Data Build Tool) to define, document, and maintain data models and business logic in SQL for analytics and reporting
    Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data

    Performance Optimization

    Monitor and optimize data pipelines to ensure they are performing as expected, ensuring efficient data processing and cost management
    Automate data processing tasks to improve efficiency and scalability

    Data Governance

    Enforce data quality standards, implement data access controls, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations

    Visualization

    Analyze and interpret data to present insights clearly and concisely
    Prepare dashboard visualizations and reports to communicate data insights to internal and external stakeholders in written and/or verbal format

    Machine Learning Integration

    Work with data scientists and analysts to build and deploy data-driven solutions, using Google Vertex AI

    Team Collaboration

    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand their data needs and provide solutions
    Lead and mentor other data engineers to design and implement complex data solutions

    Documentation

    Create and maintain documentation for data pipelines, data models, and best practices

    Technical Innovation

    Stay up-to-date on the latest GCP and data engineering technologies to incorporate them into the data infrastructure

    Qualifications

    • Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, data, engineering data science, or a related field
    • Post-graduate degree in any of the above will be an advantage
    • 5+ years of experience in Google Cloud Data Engineering or a comparable cloud platform is preferred
    • In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Google BigQuery, SQL and Cloud Storage would be an added advantage.
    • Experience with data modeling and data warehousing principles

    Preferred Skills

    • Knowledge of DBT, or similar technology, and experience in building and maintaining data models
    • Familiarity with Google Vertex AI for ML integration
    • Experience with data governance and compliance practices
    • Google Cloud certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer are a significant advantage
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
