    IT Solutions Project Manager

    Overview

    We are looking for a seasoned IT Project Manager with experience in delivering complex projects within the solution space. This role will be based at our Head Office in Woodstock.

    Purpose and Objectives

    Job Purpose

    The main purpose of the job is to effectively manage IT projects aimed at affecting changes to business and IT processes, within agreed scope, time, cost and quality resulting in the realisation of the intended benefits to the affected business areas within the Clicks Group.

    Job Objectives

    • To effectively plan all aspects of a project and capture the results thereof in a comprehensive Project Management Plan (PMP), accepted and approved by the project sponsor and Steering Committee.

    • To effectively monitor, track and control the performance of a project against the agreed baseline (time, cost and quality) throughout the project life cycle

    • To effectively communicate to all project stakeholders the status and performance of the project on a weekly basis, including timely communication of serious events that may have a significant impact on the project’s success

    • To effectively manage project scope, applying formal change management for all changes (increase or reduction) to the previously agreed project baseline

    • To effectively direct and manage project execution, including managing the performances of project team members and suppliers, in the completion of project deliverables

    • To implement project products and services without any adverse impact to business processes

    • To ensure all project acceptance criteria are met and gain sign-off and approval for all project deliverables, including the formal close of the project 

    Requirements

    JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE

    • Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    • Microsoft Office Visio

    • Understand Financial Management and Costing

     

    JOB EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 6 years IT Project Management practice

    • 2 to 3 years’ experience in application development and support

    • 2 to 3 years in leadership or management role (preferably in IT)

    • 2 years Business Analyst experience

    • Minimum 5 years IT experience.

    • 2 to 3 years in leadership or management role (preferably in IT)

    EDUCATION

    • Project Management qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Commerce or Computer Science -Desirable

    • Prince2 Foundation and Practice certificates -Desirable

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from Project Management Institute

    Information Technology Security Specialist

    About the job

    Job Objectives:

    To take ownership of IT operational security duties and provide day-to-day support to the Information Security Officer, including:

    • Administer and maintain operational security solutions and processes towards continuous improvement of the overall IT security posture

    • Automate repetitive workflows with scripts and toolsets

    • Research, develop, and recommend information security policies, procedures, standards, and safeguards to protect sensitive data and enable secure data transmission and storage

    • Document and implement security hardening baselines for internal and external IT systems and compliance monitoring

    • Administer and manage identity access governance toolset, and initiate and follow up on user access certification review campaigns

    • Enhance and monitor SIEM alerts, investigate and resolve incidents

    • Develop and assist in threat intelligence initiatives

    • Collaborate with teams/business to consult around security solutions for applications

    • Identify, investigate and resolve threat intelligence, security, access and authentication issues escalated by staff and other users

    • Keep abreast of and share details of new and ongoing information security issues, threats, remediation/mitigation steps and latest technologies

    • Document technical issues identified during security assessments and practical recommendations for resolution. Proactively identify and mitigate against information security risks or incidents

    • Drive awareness of vendors / 3rd parties compliance requirements to information security standards, and ensure adherence thereof

    • Generate regular IT security reports structured to provide information about statistics and trends as required by the Information Security Officer

    • Implement IT security projects, deploy new security tools using DevOps approach to achieve tasks and objectives, and conduct research work as needed

    • Maintain PCI DSS and audit compliance requirements

    • Share workload with IT Security analysts to meet call SLA requirements, and automate manual IT security workflows where appropriate

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Relevant IT Security Certification (CISSP, OSCP, CEH, Security+, Linux, CISA, etc.)

    • Demonstrable Linux and scripting/programming experience

    • At least 5 years IT related experience

    • At least 3 year IT security related experience

    Skills, Abilities and Job Related Knowledge:

    • Demonstrable general IT experience

    • Understanding of information security principles

    • Working knowledge of heterogeneous operating system platforms

    • Proficient in at least one programming or scripting language (Linux shell scripting, Windows Powershell scripting, Python, Perl, Java, etc.)

    • Understanding of information security assessments, tools, and industry standards

    • Passionate about IT Security
