    Job Description

    • The role of Chief of Staff supports the senior Partner and executive leadership in driving the execution of strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and robust financial reporting to enable data-driven decision-making across the Nordic countries towards becoming one Nordic Team.
    • As Nordic Chief of Staff, you act as a strategic advisor and operational leader to a senior Partner managing the Finance Transformation portfolio spanning across the Nordic region. You play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic transition plan, facilitating collaboration across countries and offerings, and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate closely with the Partner to define, communicate, and execute strategic priorities for Finance Transformation across the Nordic region, bridging multiple countries and Offerings.
    • Design and facilitate executive workshops to assess the current state and identify critical priorities (“must-win battles”) across the six Finance Transformation Offerings.
    • Define the desired future state, including the placement of key processes within the future organisational structure, ensuring alignment with Deloitte’s corporate strategy.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive KPI framework to monitor performance and drive behaviours aligned with the new Nordic-driven business model.
    • Conduct detailed assessments of existing versus target leadership mandate structures, identifying initiatives to close capability gaps.
    • Support the development, tracking, and reporting of business plans, KPIs, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with firm-wide objectives.
    • Lead and support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in collaboration with Finance teams.
    • Manage and optimise governance structures, meeting cadences, and decision-making forums for the Partner and leadership teams.
    • Coordinate and track the progress of key initiatives, ensuring accountability, timely delivery of outcomes, and effective change management.
    • Serve as a trusted point of contact for top management, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
    • Represent the Partner in meetings and forums as required, ensuring continuity and consistency of messaging.

    Qualifications

    Key Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance, public administration, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in a Chief of Staff, Strategy, PMO, or similar role within a professional services or consulting environment.
    • Strong consultancy skills with the ability to communicate complex content into clear, actionable insights.
    • Exceptional organisational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with keen attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), reporting tools, and digital collaboration platforms.
    • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to join our growing team, supporting Directors and Partners in the management and delivery of complex client engagements.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Lead and deliver client projects focused on regulatory compliance, legal strategy, and risk management.
    • Advise clients on developing and implementing effective RCL management systems, controls, and mitigation strategies.
    • Translate in-depth understanding of client strategy into impactful, sustainable solutions to RCL challenges.
    • Guide clients through RCL risk assessment, control design, and process improvement, leveraging industry knowledge and analytics.
    • Draft and review legal agreements, conduct detailed research, and provide expert opinions on legal and regulatory matters.
    • Assess, design, and implement RCL controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives.
    • Oversee project planning, budgeting, and delivery to ensure a superior client experience.
    • Lead and develop teams, fostering a collaborative environment committed to excellence.
    • Prepare and present high-quality reports and recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, sharing insights with clients and colleagues.

    About You:

    • Strong experience in regulatory, compliance, and legal risk management within a professional services or corporate environment.
    • Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects, with a focus on client value.
    • Expertise in drafting and reviewing legal agreements, and applying common law and contract law principles.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an aptitude for leveraging technology and data.
    • Ability to stay ahead of industry trends and build deep client relationships.

    Qualifications

    • 4 year legal degree or 2 year post graduate legal degree.
    • Compliance Diploma or Certified Compliance Professional
    • At least 2 years legal articles
    • At least 7 years post articles work experience of which 4 must be in a consulting capacity.
    • Extensive experience in leading, managing and implementing compliance solutions .
    • Regulatory research across African jurisdictions.
    • Experience and knowledge of GRC tools and digitisation opportunities in the legal and compliance space
