    Business Analyst - Product Development Change

    Key Responsibilities

    Business Case Development:

    • Produce business cases for new initiatives, evaluating their desirability, feasibility, and viability.
    • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support informed decision-making.

    Design Thinking & Customer-Centric Approach:

    • Apply design thinking methods to understand and address client needs, ensuring solutions are user-friendly and effective.
    • Engage with stakeholders to align solutions with customer expectations and business objectives.

    Requirements Documentation:

    • Break down epics into features and user stories with stakeholder input, documenting business rules, use cases, and system requirements.
    • Utilize tools like ARIS, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro to document data flows, business processes, SOPs, and work instructions.

    Process Analysis & Improvement:

    • Analyse existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
    • Propose solutions to streamline operations and support business or project objectives.

    Agile Development & Team Collaboration:

    • Participate in an agile development team, attending Scrum meetings, and serving as a Product Owner when required.
    • Manage Kanban boards and collaborate with the delivery team to define priorities and release cycles.

    Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment:

    • Regularly engage with stakeholders to validate features and ensure alignment with business goals throughout the SDLC.
    • Communicate with developers to clarify specifications, design, and changes, and assist in coordinating product releases.

    Testing & Quality Assurance:

    • Collaborate in the development of test plans and cases, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solution quality and alignment with requirements.
    • Support test preparation, execution, and the development of training materials for new processes or systems.

    Release Coordination & Documentation:

    • Ensure all release documentation is complete, stakeholders are informed, and the release plan is clearly communicated.
    • Provide post-release support, including documentation review and business training.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
    • Accredited BA course
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst
    • Proven experience in Agile delivery method
    • Previous experience in applying SAFe and Design Thinking frameworks as well as Agile delivery methods.
    • Previous Product Owner experience will be advantages

    Senior Fund Administrator: Custodian Services

    Role Responsibilities

    Custodial Administration

    • Log and manage custodian changes, ensuring all updates are properly recorded and implemented where applicable.
    • Support projects and the Change Team by addressing any CSDP (Customer Solution Delivery Process) requirements.
    • Maintain and update the CSDP contact list for OPS, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
    • Provide addendums on behalf of Curo in response to structural changes within the business.
    • Communicate relevant custodian information across the organisation to ensure alignment and awareness.
    • Identify errors, rectify omissions, and enhance systems and procedures to drive continuous

    Reconciliations & Reporting

    • Perform regular reconciliations of custody accounts to ensure transaction accuracy and integrity.
    • Support regulatory reporting requirements, maintaining compliance with industry standards and guidelines.

    Compliance & Risk Management

    • Ensure all custodial activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
    • Maintain the CSDP issues log for all custodians, supporting Global Annual Surveys and Meetings.
    • Oversee the KYC and recertification process for Curo, ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations.
    • Prepare and issue mandate letters authorising Curo to instruct on new accounts.
    • Complete the Global Custody Survey on behalf of Curo and its clients, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
    • Provide the Curo Authorised Signatory List annually for all teams, ensuring up-to-date records.

    Client & Stakeholder Coordination

    • Organise and facilitate meetings between Curo and the Custodian to address and resolve escalated queries.
    • Coordinate meetings for the onboarding of new accounts and Custodians, ensuring a smooth setup process.
    • Arrange and support training sessions between Curo and the Custodians as needed.
    • Participate in ad hoc due diligence visits with clients upon request, providing necessary insights and support.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve and streamline custodial processes.

    Senior Fund Accountant - Fund Accounting

    Key Responsibilities:

    Fund Accounting & Valuations

    • Process journal entries to the general ledger, including income distribution journals
    • Analytical review of all daily, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc work done by team
    • Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, dividends, and fees.

    Reconciliations & Reporting

    • Reconcile general ledger accounts to the investment ledger to ensure accuracy
    • Identify and resolve reconciliation discrepancies promptly.
    • Prepare trial balances, financial statements and investor reports as required.

    Regulatory & Compliance

    • Ensure fund accounting processes comply with IFRS, GAAP, and local regulatory requirements.
    • Assist with audits by preparing necessary schedules and responding to auditor queries.
    • Monitor fund compliance with investment mandates and regulatory limits.

    Client & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Communicate with fund managers, trustees, custodians, and clients on fund accounting matters.
    • Provide timely responses to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
    • Assist in onboarding new funds and implementing process improvements.

    Work Commitment

    • Willingness to work overtime as required, particularly during peak periods, month-end, and year-end reporting cycles, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

    Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of fund accounting processes.
    • Implement best practices and leverage technology to improve workflows. 
    • Develop and maintain accounting procedures and documentation.

    • Familiarity with investment systems such as HiPortfolio is an advantage.
    • Knowledge of asset management environment, including but not limited to financial markets and instruments
    • Proficient in MS Office suite
