    Regional Field Sales Manager - Canelands Verulam, KwaZulu-Natal

    Main responsibilities:

    • Building relationships with key contacts (e.g. Operations & store managers) and providing customers with objective and trustworthy analysis of their business in order to ensure that customers carry an appropriate portfolio of Colgate products that receive optimal exposure at store level
    • Conducting regular business reviews and follow-up on sales activity, new products, customer service, receivables, and claims
    • Developing and executing customer plans that profitably increase sales volume, distribution and market share Working with logistics team to plan, analyze, and forecast customer(s) needs, to follow up on orders to ensure on time and complete delivery, and to prioritize customer requirements when product is unavailable
    • Monitoring activity at store level and communicating competitive, category, and product (e.g. pricing, product assortment, promotion and placement) information impacting sales results to customer marketing and Customer management so that they can proactively respond with new strategies and tactics
    • Tracking KPIs and taking action to improve performance

    Required Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor's degree or NQF equivalent
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in an FMCG environment, Modern Trade/ Personal Care would be advantageous.
    • Previous experience in managing a field sales team & 3rd party Sales Agents

    Payroll Manager

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:

    • Cross functional collaboration with all internal stakeholders
    • Documenting and updating payroll policies and procedures
    • Ensure that company policies are adhered to ESS Adminitsrtaion
    • Resolving all payroll discrepancies.
    • Submit Expatriate quarterly and annual reporting to New York
    • Assist with Expatriate queries
    • Liaise with outsourcing payroll provider for payroll processing
    • Liaise with tax service provider for completion of Expatriates’ income tax returns
    • EMP201 Statutory Returns submission to SARS
    • EMP501 Reconciliation process and submission to SARS
    • Proficient with SARS E@syfile Software
    • SARS Tax Directives for stock options and as required
    • Ex-Pat Quarterly , annual reporting and Month end reporting 
    • Month end third party reconciliations for medical aids, funeral funds, retirement funds, group risk, unions, garnishee and maintenance orders amongst others
    • Pension and provident fund reconciliations on third party portals where applicable
    • SOX compliance testing and SOX design process flows
    • Periodically assist in audit testing
    • Purchase orders on SAP for payments to third parties
    • Assist with General Ledger reconciliation discrepancies

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Human Resources Management, Finance, or Business.
    • Certified Payroll Professional Designation (Preferred)
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in payroll or similar role
    • Solid financial acumen and strong accounting background
    • Advanced Payroll Tax knowledge and relevant experience
    • Strong working knowledge of relevant tax legislation, employment conditions and Bargaining Councils (advantageous)
    • Experience in dealing with Expats Solid experience with PAYE, E-filing, Easyfile and Emp501 reconciliation

    Shopper Development Manager

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Category Knowledge, Business Challenges & Insights 
    • Deliver Category Knowledge (Be the shopper expert for the customers)
    • Identify insight driven Business Challenges for key customers Joint Category Planning
    • Deliver the Retail Category Development Services to their customers aligned with Category management RM priorities and direction
    • Develop 3 year shopper plan aligned to customer engagement strategy (for priority customers)
    • Develop annual category & shopper plan integrated within Joint Business Planning.
    • Recommend customer differentiation opportunities (with CD)
    • Shopper Program Development & Activation 
    • Activate Shopper programs
    • Refine programs to customer shopper & targeted vehicles
    • Translate insight and business challenges into recommended category strategies & solutions (activation platforms)
    • Deliver regular shopper return on investment reviews for key activities
    • Leverage RE/customer-specific shopper insight & customer analytics to Tailor the 5Ps by RE to the customer(s) formats, considering customer strategies and policies
    • Communicating 5P targets to Operations and monitoring implementation

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in an FMCG environment
