    Deputy Plant Controller

    Your mission, roles and responsibilities

    • The Plant Deputy Controller is involved in the controlling of a plant in order to guarantee and optimise the plant's financial performance and competitiveness.

    Ensure compliance to all financial procedures

    • Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization in accordance with Group procedures and policies
    • Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia finance related procedures (product flow, inventory, routings, …)and internal control basics
    • Provide reliable financial/controlling information in close relationship with other operational and support functions

    Provide reliable financial / controlling information

    • Participate in financial forecasting processes, providing data for budget, periodic forecast, …
    • Collect and manage data consolidation and reporting, ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and delay compliance
    • Update information into the ERP System
    • Ensure reliability of standard costing
    • Contribute to controlling analysis including variance analysis/standard costs, margin/programs, plant budgetary control …
    • Collaborate with Shared Service Center obtaining/providing proper finance information
    • Contribute to the control and management of the plant’s operating cashflow (capex, inventories, overdues)

    Your profile and competencies to succeed

    • Business School or Engineering background with a Finance degree or Masters degree in Finance
    • First experience in controlling, or significant apprenticeship experience in controlling preferably in industrial environment
    • Computer literate and good knowledge of IT systems
    • Solid accounting knowledge
    • Strong teamwork
    • Good communication skills
    • Fluent in English required

    Plant Controller L.evel 1

    Your mission, roles and responsibilities

    • The role of the Plant Controller is to manage the financial aspects of the operations in order to guarantee and optimize the plant’s financial performance and competitiveness.

    Ensure compliance to all financial procedures

    • Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization in accordance with Group procedures and policies.Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia finance related procedures (product flow, inventory, routings, …), and internal control basics
    • Provide reliable financial/controlling information in close relationship with other operational and support functions
    • Lead all financial forecasting processes (budget, periodic forecast, …)
    • Manage reporting process ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and delay compliance
    • Ensure reliability of standard costing
    • Provide all necessary controlling analysis including variance analysis/standard costs, margin/programs, plant budgetary control, squeeze management and follow up of sales and purchasing price,
    • Collaborate with Shared Service Centre obtaining/providing/validating proper finance information
    • Control and manage the plant’s operating cash flow (capex, inventories, overdues)
    • In liaison with Shared Service Centre provide all necessary information requested by internal and external auditors, and others local external authorities

    Your profile and competencies to succeed
    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance or related field of study
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial environment including an experience in a program team.
    • Proficiency with SAP and related financial reporting tools  
    • Fluent in English
    • Automobile industry work experience, preferred.

    Skills and competencies:

    • Knowledge of cost Management methodology    
    • Strong analytical ability, and financial acuity 
    • Good communication skills and teamwork ability
    • Ability to work in a matrix organization under pressure.
    • Manages complexity.
