    Energy Transition Analyst

    We’ll Count on You To:

    • Take ownership of a suite of region-specific reports, datasets and 10-year forecasts.
    • Identify and analyse key trends and articulate the risks and opportunities facing sector stakeholders up and down the value chain.
    • Produce insightful and actionable research and contribute to ad hoc reports and special projects as you become a subject matter expert.
    • Interact with and support our global sales team and with clients to communicate our industry views and drive engagement with our data.
    • Support team leaders in the development of new research initiatives evolving with the industry. 

    What You Need to Have:

    • Bachelor degree with a focus on Renewables, Energy, Economics, Finance, International Relations or a related field.
    • Relevant experience in Energy Transition related analysis and research, or at least demonstrable interest in the Energy or Power sectors.
    • Demonstrable ability to solve problems using critical, rational and creative thinking.
    • Strong writing and numeracy skills are essential; Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills also desirable

    What Would Make You Stand Out:

    • Existing knowledge of Energy Transition and topics such as, Energy Storage, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture & Storage, Power/Energy Markets, Renewables, Transmission Grids or Electricity Pricing.
    • Ability to write clearly and concisely, while being able to convey key points effectively
    • Ability to convey, clearly and concisely, key points through verbal and graphic skills
    • Ability to work as part of a larger team and being willing to take on projects at short notice

    Data Analyst (ESG)

    We’ll Count on You To:

    • Efficiently gather, manipulate and analyse ESG impact data for companies and their debt instruments from various reports, and develop expertise on the sources and methodologies behind the numbers.
    • Keep up to date with ESG and sustainability trends, both regulatory and within your sectors of expertise
    • Authoritatively respond to internal and external queries regarding our data sets on ESG performance of entities and fixed income issuances
    • Be responsible for Quality Analysis of ESG data collected by other analysts, automated processes, and outsource partners and provide feedback to stakeholders to improve data collection processes, while focussing on accuracy and comprehensiveness.
    • Work with internal and external teams to liaise on data capture requirements and delivery timelines

    What You Need to Have:

    • Undergraduate degree in ESG themed disciplines or economics/business/finance
    • Academic or professional experience working with data, strong analytical and data interpretation skill
    • Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g. Excel, databases)
    • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
    • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

    What Would Make You Stand Out:

    • Knowledge of different ESG reporting frameworks, understanding nature of sustainable finance
    • Understanding of the global themes around sustainability such as COP28, Paris Climate agreement, and concepts like Net Zero, carbon offsets, etc.
    • Ability to cooperate seamlessly in a team-based, international setup, with a strong focus on collaboration and common objectives
    • Business level knowledge of additional international languages such as French, German, Mandarin, etc. will be beneficial

    Data Specialist (Maternity Cover)

    • Collaborate with research analysts to ensure accurate and timely data in our products, and use the expertise you acquire to develop new content sets and products
    • Work alongside FS Sales team to explain methodologies, risk indices and promote FS business development
    • Actively participate in external client meetings to provide subject matter expertise and deliver data presentations

    What You Need to Have:

    • Undergraduate degree in economics or statistics or similar
    • Academic or professional experience, in statistics or econometrics combined with working with macroeconomic data
    • Strong proficiency in Excel (VBA) and solid knowledge of Python
    • Proven forecasting, analytical, and data transformation skills in a dynamic and challenging working environment
