    Senior Warehouse Controller(JHB)

    Description

    • Conduct inspections on incoming parts when needed to ensure compliance with Work Instructions and handling any deviations accordingly i.e. quarantine, return etc;
    • Binning of parts received into respective areas;
    • Complete weekly cycle counts in any of the warehouses as and when needed;
    • Picking and routing of parts from warehouse to hangars or outstations to fulfil maintenance requests;
    • Packaging of parts according to ATA regulations prior to shipping if needed;
    • Responsible for dispatching of parts;
    • Accurate record keeping and filing of all documentation pertaining to spares movement;
    • Completion of all relevant shipping documentation;
    • Updating of the stock system to reflect movements;
    • Delivery of parts to line stations if and when needed;
    • Assist Warehouse Supervisor with stock queries;
    • Attend to spares requests sent through email, phone calls or WhatsApp;
    • Doing full stock counts and rectifications;
    • Doing deliveries to suppliers if needed;
    • Assist in Tool Store when needed;
    • Ensure Warehouse access is controlled at all times;
    • Updating of spares requisition system. Must have good admin skills;
    • Carry out general Warehouse duties;
    • Housekeeping;
    • Carry out ad-hoc tasks as requested by management;
    • Investigations;
    • Oversight on daily operations;
    • Shift rostering.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent;
    • Forklift license (Advantageous);
    • Must have worked on a ERP system previously (Essential);
    • Minimum of 3-5 years Warehousing experience (Essential);
    • Must be proficient in MS Office; - Good understanding of stock management;
    • FIFO understanding;
    • Tool knowledge;
    • Clear understanding of operations;
    • Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) understanding;
    • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations;

    • Prepare moulds and lay up composite materials according to engineering and manufacturing guidelines;
    • Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in the composite manufacturing process, including CNC machines, laminating tools, and curing ovens;
    • Perform quality inspections on completed work, ensuring that all components meet technical specifications and safety standards;
    • Repair and refurbish existing composite parts, utilizing appropriate techniques and materials;
    • Collaborate with engineers and designers to provide input on materials and production methods; 
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices;
    • Document work processes, including materials used, labour time, and any deviations from specifications;
    • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives as needed;
    • Health and safety requirements must always be followed to ensure personal safety, the safety of others, and to prevent fires, accidents, and incidents.

    Requirements

    Crew Chief (JHB)

    Description

    • Conduct routine inspections for the quality of the technical maintenance;
    • Provide on the job training to the Technical Team (Technicians);
    • Provide guidance with regards to fault finding and rectification;
    • Provide guidance and knowledge on the maintenance of the applicable aircraft during the maintenance contract;
    • Monitor the quality of the work being performed;
    • Monitor the status of the ageing progress;
    • Monitor, supervise and sign the paperwork (quality inspection);

    Maintenance Program Analyst (JHB)

    Description

    • Review and update the AMP with the latest documents as revised by the OEM;
    • Liaise with RPA on submission of the AMP;
    • New and revised task cards to be updated and amended on SAM;
    • Removed task cards to be updated and removed on SAM;
    • Review and update ICA documents on SAM;
    • Load and update Engineering orders on SAM;
    • Update monthly list of CADR's for RPA;
    • Obtain, review CMM and update SAM when required;
    • Upload repair mapping with repeat inspection on SAM;

    Network Planning Specialist (JHB)

    Description

    • Develop routes to enhance network coverage optimisation;
    • Design flight schedules that maximise aircraft and crew utilisation while minimising operational costs;
    • Determine the frequency and timing of flights to optimise availability and On-Time Performance (OTP);
    • Utilise advanced network planning software and analytical tools to fine-tune schedules and improve operational efficiency;
    • Collaborate with fleet management teams to align route planning with aircraft availability and capabilities;
    • Determine the optimal allocation of aircraft types to specific routes based on factors such as capacity, range, and market demand;
    • Facilitate interdepartmental communications to address all schedule and aircraft-related planning and requirements;
    • Undertake long-term aircraft planning and management to ensure technical and other operational requirements are considered;
    • Attend Technical meetings to ensure that proactive planning for aircraft availability and configuration changes in order to ensure optimal fleet operations;
    • Coordinate with various departments to address charter and/or additional flight requests;
    • Work with the Commercial department to accommodate and assist for additional flights or schedule changes;
    • Coordinate and facilitate (if the schedule allows) any chartered flights, or supplemented flights to our schedule from the Commercial department;
    • Maintain communication with relevant stakeholders to keep them updated on any changes to the flight schedule;
    • Assess and mitigate risks associated with route development, schedule changes, and operational disruptions; - Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation to address unforeseen events and minimize the impact on network operation;
    • Ensure flight schedules align with slot allocations;
    • Participate in the Fatigue Safety Action Group as required;
    • Manage Flight and Duty Periods (FDP) Calculations during schedule planning in line with SACAA Regulations.
    • Provide monthly reports/stats as required to Exco;
    • Manage winter and summer schedule planning and provide relevant reports;
    • Act as the Project Ambassador for scheduling.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent;
    • Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in aviation operations environment and/or relevant qualification (Essential);
    • Experience of AIMS Software (Beneficial);
